Heaven is a Fairy Story

People are angry about this because, deep down inside, they know Hawking is right and they have ****** their lives hoping for a paradise that does not exist and is impossible to exist.

Ace Bandage

The one and only.
He's a rarity because he's one of the few scientists that is prepared to admit, publicly, when he gets it wrong. That lack of omnipotent arrogance in a scientist is highly refreshing.

If you've read The Grand Design, then you've seen some of his arrogance. I didn't mind it because I believe the same way, but he was very condescending towards religion in that book. But I guess that if anyone has a right to be pissed off at the world, it's him. He hasn't had a blowjob or a decent fuck in years...

I think TOC must of watched All Dogs go to Heaven :D
& Steven Hawking can't even wipe his own ass

Not at all.

Hawkins is a bitter, vindictive person.

Yes, you did.

I am not going to play words games with you.

No, I didn't.

But I don't blame you. You don't have what it takes to take me on in any respect, cupcake :hatsoff:

End of subject. Back on topic.

Hawking's mea culpa over losing the 'black hole bet' against Caltech's Preskill and Thorne is exactly why his opinions - as a scientist - are worth listening to because he's a man who has consistently demonstrated a willingness to re-examine, evaluate and correct his work and theories empirically.

In other words, he's not only prepared to be wrong, he's happy to admit it.

I'd like to see more of that in all walks of life: including that of the religious leaders we currently are burdened with.

Nice cop out.:hatsoff: Reminds me of all those great French 'tactical retreats'.:D

Don't worry, we'll all nod and admire the higher ground you are pretending to take to avoid having a new asshole torn open ....:1orglaugh

We can agree to disagree. I'm taking the high ground so you can save some face.

Blaming the *** for ******* are we?

The problem with people lies within the fact fears drive them either way. The concept isn't the issue, people are. We corrupt everything, and that is the truth. Sadly, those who want concrete evidence don't even believe it when it's presented half the time anyway. Honestly, if something has been around for over 2,000 years, and has outlived all of the worlds top minds, I think I'm gonna pay it a little attention. This 'book of rules' has outlived every scientific theory and concept, and will outlive Hawking, but yet we put stock into the words of a physical invalid? A great mind who has created nothing and proven nothing that wasn't already existent? I'd much rather have faith in God than have faith in nothing while living on a planet with everything. Y'all can keep the excuses or your rejection otherwise.

Someone I knew once used the line "My god is better than your god", this was a mature well educated person and this was her stance on it.

Question is, Why should we/I believe in anything? Write a book about it, make up a bunch of songs and the fact people are still bragging about it a few years on means its real?

Mass Hysteria and the endurance of time mean nothing. Where is this god of yours then? Sat on his cloud sunning himself while the ******** he created **** each other, wage wars in his name and his representatives ****** ********?

End of the day, you believe something, I don't. The basis for every religious argument ever! Arguing about it wont prove anything, wont change anyone's views and whose right/wrong etc)

(And no, we are all responsible for what we do - People **** people, not guns)

Steven Hawkings physical ability has nothing to do with it. Fact is a well known, respected man said something people don't like and may or may not be true. We'll find out one day.

Scientific Theories? - Doesn't the bible say we evolved from Adam and Eve?

I'm not here to start a fight, to argue or ruffle feathers. Believe what you want but this my stance -

Here's an idea for Hawking. If God/Heaven doesn't exist, let him prove it! He's a scientist, do the work and prove to the masses that they're wrong. If he doesn't want to even try, then take his voice-box and tell him to shut the fuck up!

I'm not sure if science can prove something doesn't exist. What frame of reference would you use? What's the litmus you measure the argument against?

If it exists, it can be proven. If it doesn't exist, it can't be proven.
