Have You Got Kids?

i have a son named Josiah. hes three months old
I don’t think that not wanting to have kids must be condemned. There are lots of reasons one decides not to have a family. Having a child and raising it is a tremendous responsibility, and some times I think that most people are so irresponsible that they should have their genitalia removed and not be allowed to be parents. And I always thought that it is kind of weird to need permits for all kinds of stuff, like driving, or hunting, or even buy beer, but no permit whatsoever to become a parent.
I know that there is no manual to teach someone how to be a parent (and, a GOOD one too), and you learn as you go along, and try the best you can do, but I think that I shall agree with Fox. The world we live in is a terrible place. And rather than have a child and watch it get killed, or raped, or whatever horror this world can bring, I rather never have one. I know it is not exactly a rational way of thinking, but that is just me.

Fox, my friend, you are so absolutely right about everything you say, though. no-one should have kids who has even the slightest doubt about the issue of becoming a parent. There ARE too many people in the world today. And as a fellow yank living outside the states BOTh things you say about the US are true.

no kidlets here..im still trying to get my butt thru school! hehe..cant evne feed myself on time, let alone a baby!! To compensate..I just got a new puppy 
Also..my best friend of 8 years just had a baby...he's my godson and I spoil him to death. He was born April 1,2005 but I still havent been home to meet him.........

Having a family is something that I would someday hope for, but it probably will never happen. It would be irresponsible for me to bring any children into this world when I don't have the ability to take care of and protect them. Not only do I need to protect them, but also I would need to teach them to protect themselves and survive in this terrible world we live in and I don't think I can do it. Not only that but I would have to find the right woman, the one I want to spend the rest of my life with. I just haven't found that person yet. Having a family is just one of many things I will probably have to concede that this stupid world I live in has denied me. I have a couple of nephews. I know that they will probably need my help and guidance so I will do everything I can to make sure their life is as good as possible.
I have no children but I do have a very cute nephew, lol. AND I can send him back when he has poopy diapers.
