I stole some integrity, values, honesty and respect but have seemed to misplaced all of them.

When I was a younger man in search of spiritual enlightenment I spent a summer studying with the Buddhist monks.
There was one particular monk I admired very much as he seemed to have everything I longed for, peace, serenity, oneness with the universe.
I watched him for two months but couldn't figure out his secret. During one of the meditation sessions I pretended to go use the toilet but actually crept into his room to see if I could learn anything.
The room was completely empty except for the cot he slept on. I looked under the cot and found a small wooden box with a scrap of paper inside. The paper had only one word written on it... " honesty".
Hearing the end of the meditation session I stashed the paper into the folds of my robe and took it with me and rejoined the group at the end of the session.
After dinner I was sitting on the western edge of the property watching the sunset and contemplating what I had taken and it's meaning.
The monk I admired approached me and said, " I think you have stolen my honesty."
"Yes I have but in exchange for this..." and I handed him a similar piece of paper with only one word, " irony " It seems you need this more than I do I said to the monk and left the Buddhist temple enlightened.

I never really stole anything after that because I can afford tickets less than I can afford everything else that I can't afford.

I see that possibly some of you boys have stolen thing that are worthwhile and some are mostly just petty. I am definitely not going to be as lame as the other girl on this thread and match some of you guys. Yes I have stolen something to be exact 6 cars and I am not talking Hot-Wheels.
