have u ever been banned from a message board?

I find either sleeping with, or buying gnomes for the moderators/staff people here keeps me from being banned.

Though I was once banned from the Fox News network's discussion forum for providing facts and proof.

I'd rep ya for that, but I can't. The first time I saw a fox news broadcast I was left open-mouthed and speechless with shock. All I remember is the statement "The Ayatollah is evil..."
Since when can a news company use the word evil?

I got banned from Wikipedia. Some of them people there really have no lives at all.

Make an article about a game and they call it cruft and delete it. Surely an imperfect article beats no article at all?

No. Matter of fact, I only have accounts on three additional forums. Haven't posted to two of them in a looooong time and I'm posting extremely infrequently to the third one. This is where I post the most and apparently haven't managed to anger any of the moderators in here (going to keep it that way too).

If you can get banned at Wikipedia then anyone can get banned. I am still banned just because of a misunderstanding.

I got kicked off a Redskins message board because i told a mod that if he didn't like my take on the loser Jason Campbell he had a problem.

I've been banned from GameFAQs a few times on a temporary basis, countless infractions. I was having a blast in Black College Football Experience - The Doug Williams Edition board. Whew. Good times.

Of course that site is ran by a bunch of spiteful moderators that abuse their power 70% of the time and right on 30%. Members on that board can either be neutral or pretty cool, or downright assholes and immature. I find myself hanging out in old systems past boards on that site if I go back.

Got banned from a Linkin Park fan forum (Linkin Park Association). Before you go off the deep end, let me say that the community, when they're not knee-deep with LP fanboys/girls, the real community comes out and we were more like a family-type community. Hell, the mods/admins were always extremely awesome and they were always messing around. I was one of the most active members on that site, and about 99% of my posts weren't about the band in general. I even pulled a prank on my friends on the forum with the main admin that runs the site where he "banned" me because I was acting up. It was amazing.

Then, I left for awhile to deal with some personal matters and came back...and saw that it was an entirely different place. Wasn't that way at first, but the cracks started to show. It was then where I started to befriend one of the newer members that joined when I was gone. Things were fine, but she also started to show cracks. She wanted more than just my friendship, even though she was married and had kids. REALLY! She even wanted phone sex out of me. I'm dead fucking serious.

I blocked her and just moved on, even though she didn't. I posted a video where some guy randomly beats on some Elmo toy a few days later, for no reason whatsoever, we could do that sort of thing. This same girl said out loud that the video reminded her of her husband beating on her. Once again, REALLY! I tried reasoning my case to the staff, but they sided with her. She used her insane card to her advantage and it worked, so I got in trouble for it.

Some of the friends I had left over there sided with me, and we all went to our Twitter accounts to voice our opinion. Guess what? We all got in trouble for that! For voicing our opinions at another place. What a bunch of bullshit. So we all left, but it didn't matter at that point because we all got banned afterward.

So yeah, fuck them! What a fucking sham! The semi-good thing about it is that their activity has gone down since we all left. It ain't a family over there anymore. Everybody that treated everybody else like that has since left. The only god damn reason that it spikes activity from time to time is because they have a new album coming out. Once that's passed, it'll go back to being the same damn boring old fucking site.

So there's my two cents.
