Hatton undaunted by underdog tag

now that was a left hook. blam, right on the button. Hatton's mouth was open when he was on the canvas, that is how knocked out he was

Two words, Hatton flattened. :sleep::wave2:

Hatton is done. He'll never land another big money fight. I don't mean to put him down or anything. But he has been exposed; as a mediocre fighter.

He was the number one light/junior welterweight in the world & undefeated at that weight(lost welterweight fight to Mayweather) so Mediocre is a bit of a stretch.
Manny is just an extraordinary fighter. Pac will go down as an all time great, especially if he can beat Mayweather to solidify his legacy.

Hatton is a fine fighter

I think it will be a very exciting fight. Very close.

But my prediction is Pacquiaou will take it in the end. If it's a KO decision, it'll be in the latter rounds, and probably only a "technical knockout" at best. Most likely, however, since Hatton doesn't exactly have a glass jaw (understatement) I'm betting it will go to the judges decision.

The only reason I give it to Manny, well, he's got the time tested and approved hard experience, and boxing... it's in the man's blood.

Hahah. But I'd be lying if I said I was unbiased.

Pacman FTW :p

Hahah. What happened to you not having a glass jaw, Ricky? Maybe sticking it out until at least the latter rounds? Oh well. *hands you some ice.*

Pacman's always been quick, but lately he's been training to be a stronger hitter, and I think that showed. Word up.

Look, I'm not saying the guy didn't have a good career. But let's be honest. He never scored a victory over any top flight competition other than Kostya Tszyu who was 36 years old at the time. In two bouts against world class fighters (Mayweather and Pacquiao) he got handled. Think about it, 5 Months ago Oscar De La Hoya went 8 rounds with Pacquiao. Thats 4 times the distance that Hatton could manage and De La Hoya is 36 years old and way past his prime. And every other fight Hatton had was against other mediocre fighters.

Yeah. He was supposed to be a heavyweight in the Rocky movies. But I was joking about what Hatton trainer Floyd Mayweather Sr. said on "Pacquiao/Hatton 24-7" on HBO. He said Freddie Roach had a "mule" and that Hatton was the "italian stallion". I guess if a mule could whip a stallions ass in less than 5 minutes than he would've been right.
