Jenna Jameson is going solo.
The porn star has filed for a legal separation from her husband of three years, Jay Grdina, a fellow porn star who performs under the name Justin Sterling.
In her court filing, Jameson cited irreconcilable differences as the reason for the split. She listed July 1 as the date of separation.
Though she filed for a legal separation, not a divorce, Jameson, whose legal last name is Massoli, didn't bother to distinguish between the two.
"The divorce is sad but true," she said Wednesday in a statement to E! News. "I am hoping for a smooth and easy ending. But sadly this may not be possible. Let's all hope for the best."
Jameson, arguably the world's most famous porn star, founded her Club Jenna adult entertainment company with Grdina in 2000. The company grossed more than $30 million in 2005 and was acquired by Playboy Enterprises in June in a multimillion-dollar deal.
According to her publicist, Jameson is now exploring interests outside of the XXX-realm.
"Jenna has moved on with her life and is pursuing more mainstream projects and endorsement deals and is working on the movie version of her best-selling autobiography, How to Make Love Like a Porn Star, which topped the New York Times bestseller list for weeks," the rep said in a statement.
In recent weeks, Jameson has been linked with Ultimate Fighting champion Tito Ortiz. In an interview with Howard Stern last month, Ortiz said that he and Jameson are monogamous and that she is no longer acting in porn. (Sorry, guys.)
She was previously rumored to be dating Dave Navarro, shortly after he separated from Carmen Electra in July. Electra filed for divorce in August.
