As some of you may or may not know or care to know, I track posting of OCSMs and board activity on a monthly basis here. I watch trends and OCSMs that post a lot and have done so over the course of the last 5+ years. I at first did it to track to see who and how involved people were with the Miss FreeOnes competition. Namely those who were fly-by-night OCSMs. Plus, I always found it to be a bit of false advertising on FreeOnes part to be claiming you could talk freely with ladies in the business when in actuality there were only a very small percentage of the OCSMs and content owners who freely interacted here.
Anyway, after calculating this month's activity just a few moments ago, I want to make you all aware of a sad trend. OCSM participation has decidedly dropped to a 5 year all time low. There are only about 15 or less that post regularly on a monthly basis who have been a member for a year or more. There around 10 "NEW" OCSMs that actually post out of the 25 newly activated profiles, which is also an all time low. Last but not least, several former active posters to the boards have gone completely absent within the last 5 months.
My questions to you are this:
1) Have the models moved on from the FreeOnes board because there is no Miss FreeOnes money to compete for?
2) Has camming and readily available software like Twitter, Snapchat, etc. made it easier to interact on a more lucrative basis (i.e. time is money) with fans than to interact free on here?
3) Has the lack of camaraderie on the board as well as rampant trolling made the board a inhospitable place for stars and models to come interact?
4) Was there a moment that caused this mass migration away from the FreeOnes Board?
I've been around here for almost 11 years now, and it's not been this quiet since the dawning of the early days of the Internet. I feel like a damned dinosaur. Anyone else have any thoughts?
