Has Anyone Just Got Up and Moved

I'm single, live in OH. Nothing good has ever happened here. My ******* lives in Chicago- I love it there- its just vibrant- a lot going on, a lot of jobs compared to here. I despise my job, don't have ****** here. I'm sick of it here. I just want to get up and move- has anyone ever done this- who just said fuck it, and one day just relocate to a different part of the country, w/o a job lined up. Is it scary? Or 'exciting' type of scared? I'm really contemplating it- I have saved some money- I figured I could live with my bro for a few months.
