Hannibal Rising, the story of the young Hannibal Lecter

Some of you may of read the book, which has only been writen recently, but already it has been made into a movie.
I know some of you have a strong dislike for film producers just ripping off older movies with sequels/prequels, but i for one am really looking forward to this.
The Hannibal series has never really let me down, with the remake of Red dragon nearly being better than Silence of the lambs... The only thing that worrys me, is obviously Anthony Hopkins is no where to be seen in this film
So anyway, anyone got any thoughts/expectations of this?
