Sad and unfortunate as it is, there comes a time when every pornstar hangs up their low-cut bra and crotchless panties for the last time...this is still an issue that I, mentally, have a hard time understanding. :crying: What is the proverbial final nail in the coffin for a pornstar's career? Is it when the studios and magazines stop calling? Is it when their website stops being profitable? Is it when their body just can't take the stress of the job anymore? Of course, I realize that there are many artificial ends, such as marriage or the pursuit of other interests; however, that is not what I'm referring to. Naturally, I know there's no right answer, but I'm really curious to know what you guys think is that one event that signals a woman to bail on her adult career?

There is no single answer to this question. Pornstars, like everyone else, are individuals with their individual problems, needs and wants. You can't pin it down to one event and trying to is doing a dis-service(sp) to the performers as individuals.
Recent cases:
- Crissy Moran and Jessi Summers left because they found religion.
- Haley Paige retired because "she's had a rough year, being sober from painkillers for over a year, and battling an annulment case with Martin Del Toro, who is also out of the business."

I think a pornstar should bail out,when she feels it's right to.Not because of anyone elses say so.For some it's just knowing when to stop.
If the work drys up,then maybe there is something else there,around the corner for you.Just like when someone becomes made redundant in a job or even when a sportsperson gets to the end of their career.It's not not the end of the world.They usually find something after.

I saw this documentry "Vegas Uncovered" I think it was called and there were these 2 ex-strippers who were going around Vegas trying to convert some strippers into bjorn again christianity i was pissing myself :rofl: The guy they were working for - was a guy from the clergy.Who the church threatened to throw him out if he didn't stop backing the ex-strippers.
As if it were a crime for strippers and pornstars to do what they do.It would definatly be a crime for them not to. :thumbsup:
Anyway the guy had to back off and let the strippers go freelance I think...I had hit my wank wall by then :helpme:
