Somehow, in LT's sick mind, he probably thought that "sex sells" and getting himself embroiled in a sex scandal will get him some money/fame. I wonder if he thinks he can get a tell-all book deal out of this?

People are too quick to judge and assume too many things,...but Taylor has a long history of crimes and doing stupid things, so in that respect I can see how people aren't giving him the benefit of the doubt. It's the same with Roethlisberger. After a person does so many shady and stupid things you can't blame people that much for assuming the worst about them.

This interests me in a morbid way. Let's say it goes to trial, he's found guilty, and is sent to Ryker's Island, or wherever they send rapist pedophiles in New York. It's a well-known fact in the prison system that cops, rapists, and pedophiles have an automatic hit on them when they enter the prison. However, I'm sure he'll have more than a few fans in the prison where he ends up, being that he's a sports legend. In his case, would the hit still be there because he fits the criteria, or would he be spared because he's a football legend?

My point is we really don't know what happened.( First report I heard was that the girl was 15 & LT had beaten her up & raped her) Turns out she is actually a 16 year old who was turned out & beaten up by a 'pimp'.

There is no doubt that LT is an admitted 'poon' hound. Maybe he just neglected to ask her for ID & accepted that she was of age.

I'm just always amazed at how quick people are to pass judgement on a person(criminally speaking) before all the facts are known.

Taylor has a long history of crimes? Most of them are self inflicted DRUG offenses, Non support, income tax crimes,etc.... Unlike Big Ben LT has NEVER been accused(certainly not convicted) of sexual assault nor any physical crime upon another human outisde a football field (although he had a single run in with a reporter years ago.).

We all know that Lt is not the only person who falls victim to the Internet Lynch mobs either. From the Duke Lacrosse team to Kobe to Tito Ortiz, etc...it seems when one is accused & arrested the public damn near convicts him/her.:dunno:

It wasn't just the drugs either. LT has seemed like a genuine asshole for a long time now. When you combine it all of it together it's not exactly a stretch of the imagination to see him doing the things he is accused of.
