Well, when the server gets busy, your posts get zapped into no where!

Anyway, the 21 is the full size .45 ACP, Marlo. I tried one at the range/shop before I bought my 22. I was more accurate with the 22 vs. the 21 because of the heavier recoil factor of the .45ACP vs. the .40 S&W.

I'd posted something else but now I've forgotten what it was. But here's a piece you might find interesting, on an owner who "tested" his Glock 21. The factory has been doing this for years. But this is the first time that I've seen an owner do this to his own piece.

Glock Torture Test

Also, if you get a chance, take a look at the Sig P250 system. I'm looking forward to seeing what my uncle's does.

Although i am in army, i really do hate weapons.

The top one is definitely a weapon that should be limited to military usage and the second one should be in my gun safe !

Are firearms generally off limits to the general law abiding public in Turkey, Sir ? If yes, Do you feel that your good law abiding people could be responsible citizens if granted the right to own firearms ? If not why not ?

That's right here in teh good ole US of A we have the right to bear arms granted by that wonderful document called the Constitution.

A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed

Truly a responsible attitude. It sickens me, that the anti defense, anti gun crowd always seem to have no better argument then, "yeah, but where does it end", "when is it enough" attitude towards gun ownership. Just because I feel I should be allowed to own a high capacity semi, or even fully automatic rifle, WITHOUT government approval, or interference, doesn't mean I eel the need, or even have the desire to own something that launches an explosive device. I can't even begin to explain how insulting, and repulsive, it is to me, that these self righteous, asshats have the gall to assume, I am not reasonable enough to know the difference between what is fun, and what is manacle. I can't begin to describe how it sickens me, that these hypocrites think they can some how think far more clearly, then I can, just because I enjoy shooting the guns I enjoy shooting, and because I feel it should be MY BUSINESS, and no one else's. I fucking know when to say, "hey, I have no need for that, that goes a little to far.

Also most of the gun-grabbing asshats do not know ANYTHING about weapons or their componets. For example NY Crongresswoman Carolyn McCarthy was campaigning for a renewal of the federal assult weapons ban when she was asked why she wanted to ban guns that had barrel shrouds. She was asked amd her responce was "I actually don't know what a barrel shroud is, I believe it is a shoulder thing that goes up" WHAT!!!! if your going to ban weapons at least have enough common sence to look up the componets of the weapons. the games that gun prohibitionists play are more creative that Charlie Rangel's reasons why he did not follow the tax laws that he wrote. It clearly states that "the RIGHT of the PEOPLE to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed" If we are going to get rid of this right, then maybe we can gid rid of the 5th as well, due process, takes to long if we make you confess to the crime we are more efficent. 6th, who needs jury trials do you really need a lawyer if your innocent? Or how about the 8th excessive fine and cruel and unusual punishment, nothing like a few public beheadings or taliban floggings to keep the people in line.

Let's not forget what happened to General Gage and the British when they tried to take away guns from our forefathers.

Hello Sexy girl how your Toes doing?
Well I am about 2 weeks away from being able to buy my next gun. I am seriously considering a 10mm glock do any of you guys have a 10mm? I am not a rifle or assault weapon guy, I live in the city, and I don't hunt game, I am NOT even a hiker.

All I know is I was fixin to get a .45 to add to my Pistols. but after reading the ballistics of the 10mm compared to that of the .45 I am NO longer interested in the .45.

I know the .357 mag and the 44 mag are little more powerful than the 10mm, but gock doesn't carry a .44 mag and I am not very impressed by the .357 mag. :dunno:

does anybody have any advice or suggestions before I buy anything? thanx in advance. oh yeah, I am working with a fixed budget can't afford high end manufacturers unless its used and reasonable shape / price. :glugglug::hatsoff:

well, i turned 21 on tuesday, and as a gift my brother gave me his 9mm S&W Model 496.

its an older heavier handgun, but i still love it. i already had a 12 gauge Ithaca shotgun but that was more like my dad going "oh yea you can have this one". this is a proper gift, so i love it.

the older s&w models are better than the new polymer military and police models

I'm not much into "plastic" guns either...that's one of the reasons why I tend to dislike Glocks. My older S&W 9mm, is a great shooter. Never jams, eats anything I feed her, comfortable to shoot. I just picked up an old Model 27, .357 last week. Gun has to be 30 years old, not even a hint of holster wear.

Glock 22 full size. Best pistol I've owned.

All Glock owners say that, but I don't like double action only, I don't like plastic, and that thing on the trigger is fucked up. I just don't like them. I'll stick with Sig.

It's not hard to find, it's just that some of it is way to expensive. Like the .308 you fire out of your H&K I would put steel case ammo in the Russian caliber guns, but I would only use brass cased ammo in the H&K...at $17-$25 for a box of 20, that amounts to a pretty good pile of cash.

I will rather stick with para ordnance, les baer, nighthawk custom or caspian if I have to choose a 1911 model in 40s&w or in 45acp. For bigger and more lethal calibers like 400 corbon, 44 mag, 45 winchester magnum, 478 wildey magnum and 50 ae, the wildey automag and the desert eagle are my choices.

Wolf 308 FMJ about $9.00 for a box of 20; $187.00 for 500 rounds.
Wolf 7.62x39 FMJ ammo is about $120.00 for 500 rounds.
I only buy ammo in bulk, cheaper that way.Besides, the gun shops here in my town have a limit on how many 20 round boxes can be purchased at a time, saying it's scarce, which is complete BS.

I've always known "Wolf" brand ammo to be steel cased. If they offer brass cased at that price, I would be amazed, delighted, and stand corrected. An H&K, isn't American made, so maybe it can handle steel casings better, but I would doubt they recommend it. A lot of steel cased ammo is also lacquer coated, and as the barrel heats up, the lacquer melts, causing it to stick in the chamber. That WILL rip an ejector out of a gun. I noticed most of what you've listed, are Russian calibers/guns...they are the exception, so that is a great advantage to those guns, but it you run enough of that steel cased, lacquer coated crap through an M1A, or an AR...you'll be dealing with problems. If I were you, I wouldn't run another single round of ammo through that H&K, that wasn't good quality, brass cased ammo. The rest of your rifles will handle it just fine. Now remember, this is just my opinion, but I would be willing to bet, a good number of the knowledgeable gun owners on this site, would agree, and many of them are VERY experienced with many types, and aspects of weapons, and ammo, not to mention reloading, and gunsmith work. Take it for what it's worth, I would hate to see one of your weapons damaged, or worse, you or another person hurt from a mishap.
