Everybody has guns, this is what is bound to happen any given day. Look at all the mass shootings.

Well, one fine day it may be just one kill too much.

Until then - it's your choice.

There's another section for that sentiment. But if you insist...I blame the mentally unstable man, not the inanimate object he used.

I hope to god she did not suffer.. but the SOB used hollow point bullets, her father said she did not suffer, but I don't think it was quick..

Yeah, I should've started this thread in politics but I didn't want it to devolve into that.

I'm curious, what laws that aren't already on the books need to be passed to have prevented this shooting from happening? This guy apparently passed his background check. And if he had survived and been convicted it would be illegal for him to ever possess another firearm. It's already illegal to murder someone, just like it's against the law to drive while intoxicated yet drunk driving deaths continue to be a problem in the U.S.

What law short of banning private ownership of firearms would have stopped this? And even that wouldn't necessarily have prevented these killings. You see how he just casually walks up to them totally unnoticed. He could've slit the camera guy's throat with a knife then chased down the reporter, stabbed her multiple times then beheaded her. It's already happened in an American workplace.

so this is a black on white crime, so the media said, the victims used to nully the shooter over his race, lol what a crap to hide the murder of 2 innocent people.

Racing is life... anything else is just waiting.
My condolences to the families and coworkers at WDBJ of the two people murdered and also the woman who was wounded - her life will NEVER be the same.

In a bell tower, watching you through cross hairs.

This was a pissed off whack job, and not a mass shooting. This kind of shit can, and has happened in countries that DO NOT allow guns period. Blaming an inanimate object is a pathetic excuse, to whore an agenda. It's fucked up that this shit happens, but no matter how hard you try and point fingers, it still comes down to far less deaths by gun, then by drunk drivers, and malpractice, or overdose on LEGAL, prescription drugs. This was the third time this sorry little pussy got fired from a job because of anger issues...that's the problem. Has this fuckwit EVERY threatened anybody with violence? If so, there's your sign. That's the issue, not the gun.

I understand where you're coming from but I disagree. I think everyone should watch that video because it will keep you from becoming numb to these types of tragedies. I hate to say it but we won't even be talking about this two weeks from now because the 24 hour media will have moved on to something else. I was watching the news coverage yesterday and the Charleston shooting was mentioned and it hit me. I totally forgot that 9 people lost their lives in a church in Charleston

Three lullabies in an ancient tongue
Disgraceful and disgusting example of another instance of workplace retribution. Apparently, the perp had a grudge to bear against the two unfortunate victims over his dismissal from the same station where they all worked. He had a history of aberrant anger episodes and obviously planned this well in advance....posting the events as they unfolded on Facebook (Facebook is an evil entity but that's another subject for another thread). How this lunatic was able to purchase his Glock without any issue is troublesome. You can say "don't blame the inanimate object" all you want but a gun was what he used to kill them and, without it, things would have likely been very different. The ease with which this individual was able to acquire said inanimate object is a problem....second amendment or not.

The problem is with the verbiage in the amendment. It provides ironclad protection for any citizen to have ready and unencumbered access to a gun. Until or unless we are willing to amend the constitution to provide some safeguards against lunatics like this fucking nutball having easy access to guns, this type if thing is only going to proliferate. When the amendment was scripted, flintlock rifles were state of the art. Weaponry available today is much different and much more deadly, easily hidden and can be used with lethal results to kill multiple victims. Our founding fathers had no inkling of this possibility when they drafted the amendment.

My heart goes out to the victims and their families and friends....young professionals with their whole lives ahead of them....snuffed out in a few seconds by some crazy motherfucker with a gun. Really a sad story. :crying:

White guy shoots black people = we must get rid of racism. Black guy shoots white people = we must get rid of guns. Of course.
