While I don't play real guitar (I really need to learn sometime) I love playing this game! The first 2 were alot of fun with some good solid rock songs!

But look at this fuckin bullshit list for GHIII

MTV feels confident in the new direction that the franchise is taking saying that "R&B is the new Heavy Metal"

Honestly..they're pulling a nintendo with this one. Going for the young, screwing the old. As Dave Chapelle put it.. white people like guitars. And dangit, you dont mix white guitars with something almost purely black: R&B drum, beats and melodies. Thats oil and water, brother.

I love R&B. TRUE R&B. Not what they call it these days. These days... its black pop. But old school rhythm and blues, smooth melodies with soulful vocals.. I'm not ripping on it when I say that putting a guitar to it cant turn out well. Even using the guitar as a controller for something WITHOUT guitar.. is just retarded. Say goodbye to the franchise and sell your guitar controllers while you can!!!!

Eagles - Hotel California
Led Zeppelin - Stairway to heaven

oh thank god, the op really got me worried about the direction of the franchise, although i am pretty excited about the 80's edition coming out soon. i love this game, but i cant get 5 stars on "institutionalized" on medium-that time sig is so out of the ordinary, have any of you guys had trouble with that one?
