There's still some hope for the democrats. This women's march/anti trump movement is far bigger than the tea party was at this stage and doesn't seem likely to lose energy any time soon, so the left could easily see a tea party style transformation. They have basically been asleep at the wheel for the last 8 years as the right have been steadily chipping away at freedom and democracy, if living under drumpf doesn't wake them up then nothing will.

Of course now that republicans control everything, who knows if the USA will ever see a fair election again.

As for drumpf, I think the best way to get rid of him is with a sustained campaign of relentless taunting and watch the precious snowflake fall apart.

I don't think the left's momentum through protests will last 4 years. They need a candidate. Same as the right didn't have one since Bush. Hillary is gone. Chuck Schumer? Aunt Nancy? Little Miss Chelsea? Remember Occupy Wall Street?

8 years of your promises. Not enough delivery. So much so that the left lost to Trump. So go out out and see if your base benefits the entire nation. Do unions rather have benefits or jobs. Would a teacher rather have more choices for employment in a private institutions than locked into a state structured pay scale? Ask yourselves.

"They" have been asleep at the wheel since Reagan, at least. I give the Democrats until 2020. They'll either learn from 2016 or they'll fail miserably and be finished. The DNC head nominations do not look promising.

It's one of the two items left on this list that are left to check off; and the Republicans are working hard to check it off.

It seems to me like almost half the people are worried about stupid or even nonexistent stuff that the corporate media is saying about Trump.
The majority of Trump fans are with him no matter what and most of the independant media who helped him get elected are ignoring the real important stuff and the bad signs regarding his recent war retoric.
Then there's idiots like me who are wondering what the hell he is doing threatening Iran while his appointees threaten Russia and China. If that gets out of hand all the other stuff is irrelevant.

Yeah we are seeing what the USA is thinking about and more than ever it's confused, distorted, illogical, controlled, misguided, and eneducated.

Then there are the few like me, maybe 20% at best, who are concerned about stuff that actually matters and is real.

The big unknown right now is Trump another puppet of the Deep State who will carry on the program of wars, invasions, bullying and interference which among other things will destroy the possibility of The USA and its people from growing economically in any way shape or form?
Or is he using his Art of the Deal strategies as a way to achieve economic growth and overcome his opponents?
Still too early to tell.
But people should understand the second a first shot is fired by the USA it's game over. Checkmate on the American People.
