You should. I love just enjoying the city and playing in the sandbox. I also love story playing the storylines in games but GTAIV is so loaded, the sandbox play already offers alot of stuff to do.

I will play the story when I get a chance to. Which involves buying a new 360. I just enjoy what I can of the game when over at my friends place. I did play one of the last missions for him though, on the large boat, because he couldn't do it. Alot of fun.

For people who have done these achievements, we've both spent hours hanging out trying to do these 2 and just can't get 'em: 5 minutes with 6 stars (getting that 6th star is a bit difficult on it's own, the other 5 are a breeze though) and roll a car 5 times. Any advice for ways it might be easier to get them done? :dunno:

Rolling a car 5 times I got from shear luck. I was trying for a while in the airport though. Then one day I was running from the cops and took a corner to fast and ended up fipping and rolling like 10 times it was fuckin insane! As for the 5 minutes with 6 stars, all I did was fly around in a helicopter before the final island was unlocked. Just fly over that island and automatically get 6 stars. Then just fly around for 5 minutes. I've also managed to evade the cops twice with 5 stars. I never did it with 6 though. So good luck getting away!

Ah damn, he has everything unlocked. My brother found some thing where you enter some web address which automatically gives you 6 stars, but then as soon as you step outside onto the street the stars automatically went back down to 5. Thanks for the tips anyway, I appreciate it.

you could always start a new game on a separate save file. And do it that way!

I hate this game.. When I bought it I thought it was eh ok at best because of all the features they took out so I beat it then put it aside... Few months later I bought Saints Row 2(Great Game) then went and tried to play GTA IV and it actually pissed me off because of how annoying the controls are and how the mission are so repetitive and how they "TRY" to be realistic.. Its like the game takes itself to seriously

Kinda but they are more fun and arent so seriously.. Plus the controls on Saints Row 2 are way better then GTA's

Everyone enjoy Lost And The Damned? My friend got it while I was at his place yesterday, we ended up wasting about 6 hours playing it. The grenade launcher and "street sweeper" (fully auto shotgun) are really REALLY cool new weapons! Had alot of fun with that shotgun! The sawed-off shotgun is cool while riding the bike too, 2 shots take out most cars in close range. Too bad they didn't ad new cars, but a few of the new bikes are nice.

You can really classify the GTA games as different era's.
