See now, I fucking hate Reubens. I loathe sour kraut, Russian dressing and Swiss cheese. Those things combined make for a trifecta of disgust.
Funny story: When my brother was an All-American at Iowa my family went to Iowa City for a home game and my younger brother ordered one of those culinary abortions. He finished it and then promptly threw up on his plate. Then he covered it with a napkin and after the busboy cleared our table he looked either really super disgusted or super pissed. I couldn't tell which.
If it's a taco made with ground beef then this is no contest at all - the taco kills.
If it's a taco made with shredded or stewed beef or chicken it's a tossup.
I'm a touch late, but my vote would've gone to 'Grilled cheese'. My favourite cheese (Cracker Barrel Vintage - Extra Tasty) some of my favourite Tomato Sauce (Fountain - Spicy Red) sprinkled with black pepper, and either, under the grill or in the ye olde' Breville maker.
Mmm! Fucking yummy.
Edit - What the hell is a 'Reuben'? Sounds like a sex act. Am I rite?!
Normally I am a non-violent guy, but if you expressed that opinion of sour kraut in my house I would have to give you the ultimate wedgie. Tis the food of the gods I say, especially when paired with grilled brats, or pork chops.
As to grilled cheese, or tacos, I like both, but tacos win. Just made some yesterday with ground deer, and slathered with Tamazula Mexican hot sauce. best tacos I have had in a long time.

I'm from LA so I pick tacos by a longshot. Start with some Old El Paso Stand 'N Stuff Taco Shells and Old El Paso Hot & Spicy Taco Seasoning Mix then use 1 lb of lean ground beef, shred some lettuce, shred some extra sharp cheddar cheese, and pour Ortega Taco Sauce over the top. Sure is good.
Tacos al pastor, but here's a protip, you can put any taco filling on a bolillo, grill it, and have a tortas. I'm sure some of the happy Mexicans 'round here would be more than happy to grill you a queso tortas.

Well, I personally prefer them to a standard corned beef, but I like kraut. I'm sure any decent deli would grill you up a kraut free version. The melted cheese, and griddle toasted rye is great with corned beef. Try it, and add the various condiments a little at a time.
