Greatest sportsman ever (in any sport)?

lechepicha

Prince of the Rotten Milk
Roger Federer & Michael Phelps

Jordan gets my vote with Tiger Woods second because the impact he had on golf. Tiger made many people want to watch and play golf.

Oh let me think....

Mohammad Ali. Now that's no surprise.

Ayrton Senna. If he had not have died when he did Schumacher would have remained a second rater for alot longer, sorry Schuey but it's true.

Roger Federer. Come on even if you don't like Tennis you can't help but notice how good he is.

Scott Stevens. The terror of the NHL. No one was safe taking the puk over the blue line when Stevens was in the opposing team.

Sportsman or athlete? The difference is huge.

If you mean athlete, then it would be somebody who either dominated his era in a major sport or excelled in multiple sports.

If you mean sportsman, then Jackie Robinson would have to be up there. Pat Tillman maybe. It's tough because the media usually focuses on the bad stuff athletes do.
