HAHAHAHAHAHAHAH!!!!!!!!!!!

are u serious!!!

hahahahahahaha!

:crash:

If he didnt miss so much time due to illness and injuries plus being owner/savior of the penguins i think Mario Lemieux would be the greatest of alltime the man is a scoring machine

I personally think that Wayne Gretzky is most likely everyones first choice of GHPOAT.....but just wondering what everyone else thinks i personally liked Mike Bossy thought he was a great player....also Joe Sakic might be the best played to have never won a major award....ALSO GO SENS GO!!!!!

TheLegendKiller ......whose first

Mario Lemieux was the only player ever to average over 2 points a game over his entire career--prior to his terminal illness onset. After he came out of retirement though, I believe it may have dropped a bit (he should still have that record). Still though, an amazing stat that many people tend to always overlook.

If he never would have been attacked by Hodgekinsons, he may have flirted with some of Gretz's records. Plus, when you put each one next to their lineup over their careers, you may be able to argue that Gretz had some of the best supporting casts in the history of the NHL, hence, why they one 4 in a row; and Lemieux really did make everyone around him better, although Gretz did too.

I'm a little surpised that not too many people are mentioning Brett Hull.

He did sme shit that to this day I can't even believe were done. Remeber the year he had 80 plus (goals) and was flirting with the record. Brett Hull is one of the greatest, no doubt. Maybe the best top of the circle shot in history. Plus, only two guys with more goals in history: Goride and Gretz.

Don't overlook Brett.

john leclair ;)

well, he was my favorite anyway.

John Leclair was my favorite for a minute.

Only American forward ever to have 3 consecutive seasons with 50 plus goals. SERIOUS SHIT. JL was the shit for a while there man; I loved it when he was playing with Lindros, that line was so dope with Rechi. Great memories watching that squad.

thats when espn actually showed hockey. good times. :)

I haven't heard anyone mention Mark Messier's name. Not the "Greatest" of all time but I'd definitly put him in the top ten.

I meant to say won, there. Typos, and alcohol and all this other bullshit. Soemtimes I just type away and wind up putting words where they're not not supposed to be. :o I wish you moderators would let the *edit* option linger a little longer on the posts.

I like that squad, but I might have to tweek it a bit. I think you're right there thought, those are the dudes on the front that tore some shit up. They did it all. No one ever (I don't see anyone even close right now, not even Crosby) in the remote future can mess with those dudes up front. IMO.

With all due respect to Wayne Gretzky, the best hockey player of all time was Number 4. Bobby Orr. He change the way the game was played. He was the first offensive minded defenseman. Plus no one could handle the puck, like Bobby Orr. No doubt, he was the best ever.

Correction. It was LeClair Lindros and Renberg

1: Gretzky
2: Gordy Howe
3: Mario Lemieux
4: Steve Yzerman
5: Bobby Orr
6: Brett Hull
7: Dominic Hasek
8: Mark Messier
9: Ray Bourke
10: " Rocket" Richard

What alot of people don't remember about Yzerman is that he was a scorer on the same level as Gretzky and Lemieux the first half of his career and then became the ultimate two way centerman and that's when the 'Wings started winning Cups.
