I'm gonna have to go with, "The Eagle", simply because of their massive appeal across the generational span. But my favorite from the list is definitely "The Allman Brothers Band". I still maintain, and always will, that there are no two musicians that were ever better at playing harmony leads together, then the late Duane Allman, and Dickey Betts.

No - the Halen boys hail from Dutchland or something....but Diamond Dave is 1,000% USA so...let's call it even!

BTW...found a recent Gibson Guitar poll to determine the same thing: #1 band.
Totally agree with their #1 pick...although it is kind of cheating...
