Graphic, Gross or Disturbing Scenes in Movies or on Television (SPOILERS!)

Here are some I know at the moment (random order), Hollywood doesn't really fit in on my list, except few.

The turtle-scene in Cannibal Holocaust (Yes! REAL PIECE OF SNUFF!!!!)
All torture scenes in the Za ginipiggu trilogy (Guinea Pig)
The cat-scene - real or not? Men behind the sun
The fiesta of a brain in Bad Taste
The fiesta of a fetus in Anthropophagus (“The Grim Ripper”)
The torture scenes in Salò o le 120 giornate di Sodoma
The mutants-children killing the teacher infront of the very young children in The Brood
The infamous 10-minute scene in Irreversible (not really that graphic but it was a painful one I never forget)
The “crusifix-scene” in The Exorcist (gave me nightmares)
The Omaha Beach landing chapter in Saving Private Ryan (Bloodywood!)
The Nick Berg video from "The War in I.R.A.Q." (another REAL one!!!!!!)
A videoclip on the Internet with a Russian cutting the throat of another man laying on the street (REAL????)
A friend showed me a very violent pornfilm with scenes I can’t tell you about. He told me CBS had a reportage about it who described it like the "Scream of pornmovies." D'you know which one?

and any film involving ENTIRE scenes of "Cannibalism", "animal cruelty" and "extreme mysogonism"

and since P.O.R.N.films are indeed graphic and actually kind of “disturbing” so I guess this is probably the right place? And by "graphic" and "disturbing" it doesn't mean directly "mysogonic." Doesn't it....?

(I call it "spoilers". Yeah. I had a similar thread on imdb under my other pseud “LemmyCaution6” and they sent me messages that I had ruined their movieexperience hehe.)

I was once shown a video of a prisoner in Iraq behind killed. Thankfully, it was a bit difficult to see details, but I can't really forget the images of his head being cut off.

Another quite graphic and gruesome thing I saw, was a program about how cats and dogs were being strangled or skinned alive somewhere in the east. That was just so horrible that I simply couldn't watch it. I felt sick after seeing just a small part of it.

If that shit is real, then that is horrendous.


There was a series of documentaries over here in the UK on Channel 4 called 'The Dark Side of Porn'. I don't puport to have seen many disgusting things in my lifetime, but some of the snuff movies and bestiality things that those documentaries could only allude to were sickening.

Ive seen some bad stuff before, but Im not into looking at the real stuff. Its cool to go over violence in movies but postin up rotten ouch lol that site is too much. I went there one time during computer class in high school, boy o boy that was some wrong shit, and the description of the persons throat being cut by the russian that the threadstarter posted, I seen that and that image is stuck in my head real or not. ugh

Pretty much every scene of a Lucio Fulci movie is disgusting as hell, and you also get the answers to such important questions as who will win in a fight between a shark and a zombie. You just gotta love those nutty italians.

I saw a Discovery type show a few years ago that documented the way shark fin soup begins.
The fisherman catch the sharks, lug them up on deck, cut all their fins off and throw them back in the ocean alive.
It made me sad and mad.
I vowed never to eat that soup, ever!

the scene of urban warfare in "blackhawkdown" and the scene when the priest is killed in the "tears of the sun".A scene in "Oz" (tv drama) where Shillinger crucifies a man because he was a S.O. The begining of "Magnum Force", where six guys are shot with a python 357 in the head.

I actually did a course in screen violence at Uni, and the two sequences that stick in my head will always be -
1. The Eye meets sharp wood bit from Fulci's Zombi 2
2. The bath scene from I Spit on Your Grave
