Goodbye Kobe

Kobe has changed from an arrogant prima donna to a washed up has been. This NBA fan says don't let the door hit you in the ass.
Hey hey goodbye.

His continued starting shows the Lakers are happy with wasting a season instead of developing the younger talent you have. There is talk Kobe will be on the 2016 Olympic team because he is a great ambassador. Wow, waste of a roster spot.

22 % Shooting last week???
Jerry Buss must be spinning in his grave.

He obviously should have retired last year. But this terrible last season does not diminishes the great champion he is.

He is a champion but having personally been witness to his no class act several times over the years he is very far from great.
In fact the word TOOL comes to mind.

I went to my first NBA game in a very long time, just to see Kobe play... more like, so I could say that I saw him play (I never got to see Dr. J, Kareem, Magic, or Jordan). I've never been a Kobe fan. I'll always be in the MJ camp and will always see Dr. J as the classiest player that I followed in years gone by. But anyway, what I saw from Kobe and the Lakers was pretty unimpressive. He shot about 25% and launched some wild ass shots that didn't have a prayer, just because he could. They actually made a comeback against Charlotte while he was on the bench. IMO, having him out there hurt the team... he never really contributed that much. But the place had record ticket sales, packed with people there for the same reason that I was.

And the worst thing that I saw was Kobe's flagrant foul against Jeremy Lin (that the refs just called as a regular foul). He tomahawked that *** and took him down just because he was frustrated about not getting a foul called when he lost the ball on the other end. Nick Young is a flashy punk. Roy Hibbert is a waste of height. Larry Nance, Jr. is under appreciated. And Mr. Kobe needs to get this season over with and not even think of coming back, as Jordan did. I'm glad that I got to see one of the greats play, but that's about all I can say in his favor. Even as a guy who isn't in to basketball (or any stick & ball sports) anymore, I still look forward to going back and seeing LeBron next time. :)

BTW, what's up with these ugly ass, effeminate uniforms that they wear these days???!!! I felt like I was watching a Richard Simmons fashion show. Dudes wearing those yoga pants looking things under their half-pants "street ball" shorts? :wtf:  Gimme back the good old days!!!

Seen him play in his prime no disputing his talent but just an uppity pecker head.
Saw DR J play saw Bird play saw MJ play would take all 3 over Kobe.

Lucky man. You saw some real legends! :hatsoff:

I am a life long Laker fan,and I never liked that arrogant fool. I wanted him off the Lakers from the get and will be glad to see him go! Finally!!!

Always been a Kobe fan, the arrogance I could deal with cause dude was THAT good for a long time. It is time to go because his talent or lack of this season and the past few, along with his salary have held them back.

When you're HAT good, you can afford to be arrogant. #Zlatan
