Unless the bread is baked at the grocery store itself (in their bakery), there is a 0% chance that the bread you are buying is anywhere close to being fresh.
true, and in the restaurant where i work we get it thrice a week, using yellow, white, and purple... they always have a date printed on them, though. and in the supermarket near here (maxi) they do have their own bakery, but their donuts and marble cakes are always frozen when they put them on the shelves, so they still get those delivered from elsewhere.
