Just finished reading Gone Girl. Has anybody read this novel? I need to talk about this book

Yeah it was really good. I'd been seeing the trailer for the movie on TV and so I decided to read the book and I breezed through it. My two thoughts on it were: one, she created that whole plot just because Nick cheated on her? it's obvious she has some issues she needs to deal with. A regular sane individual probably would have cussed her husband out and maybe give him a slap or two and end the relationship, but Amy is way too fucked up to do something sane like that. Two, don't want to sound sexist or misogynistic, but only a woman could pull off that stunt. No way would a guy pull off this elaborate scheme. Not in a million years lol

I want to re read it, it's been a few years. But one of my favorite books. Her other books are very good too. I hope the movie does the book justice.
I'm reading 'Dark Places' right now. I plan on reading her first book as well too.

Oh wow! I'm going to see Gone Girl, I never go to the theater anymore but for this movie I may make an exception.
Yeah I might do the same. I just finished Dark Places and I'm going to read Sharp Objects as soon as I get my hands on it
