last night i went to "Paranormal Activity" and some jerks were laughing out loud the entire film... i really wanted to kill those bastards.

anyway, it was a fine experience, taking in account that is a pretty scary film. I mean REALLY scary.

There is a movie theater outside of my workplace. Sometimes I get out at 10:30 AM and go to the first showing. Last time I went by myself was to watch The Blind Side.

Going alone isn't that big a deal. I just prefer to go with at least one other person. I have gone to movies alone though. I'm fine with it.

I've never understood the point of going to a film with a group. Are we going to talk during the film? I know it is nice to go out afterward to talk about it, but that could happen whether you all see the film at the same time or not.

Meh. I like going to films alone. I do it every week as part of my job.

I used to do nights, so would often go on my own in the day. Most the time I’d have the whole place to myself. Down side was that the staff probably thought I was a loser? Plus side is you don’t have any annoying twats talking to their mates through the film.

I don't think I would have the balls to put up with the way people look at you, but there's really nothing wrong with going to the movies along I think. The cinema is not a very social (or friendly) place to begin with, and not everyone has friends who share their film taste.
I usually watch movies like that at home though.

When I worked at my last job, my days off were during the week so I rarely had anyone to go with unless the stars and planets aligned right and a friend would get the same day off. So I went alone.

Now that I have people to go with, I never have the time. Go figure.
