Get that shit out of your head right now. Nothing can kill Zilla. The most that you can do is chase him back into the water and nobody will ever dare to follow him in there.

The trailer looks spectacular but how many times have we gone to the cinema expecting to see a classic and end up been disappointed.
The last time I saw a Godzilla film , I left the cinema bewildered.
Nothing wrong with the giant monster but there was no storyline and the performances were not up to scratch.
I am encouraged by this trailer. It reminds me of "Cloverfield" and "Pacific Rim" to an extent
The monster is huge and should be the "Massive Enemy" in the film. The Mega Villain.
The Mega Villain defeated by the end of the film but a implied threat of a return for more devastation later.
It looks like it is going to a blockbuster but I have to see the film first when it comes out to be absolutely sure.
But I will have my fingers crossed that Godzilla 2014 will deliver in spades.

Japanese fans are complaining the new Godzilla is too fat.

According to Time, Japanese fans of the original film series are "annoyed with how fat the monster appears in the American trailer" - claiming online that America had "done a ‘super-size me." Other names reportedly posted were "calorie monster” and “Godzilla Deluxe.” One comment, reported here, claimed “He’s so fat, I laughed.”
