Giving or receiving?

Yeah, I bet you thought this would be about something dirty, didn't you? You dirty dirt... bags?

Anyway, it's not.

I'm just curious how you feel about giving and receiving. When I was younger, I always hated that my parents would say how they enjoyed giving presents away more than receiving them.

As I've grown though, it has begun making more and more sense to me. So now I can honestly say that I like it more giving presents or compliments away than taking them. There's just a special feeling when you know someone you like feels good because you tell them something nice or to see their eyes when they unwrap a present.

Does anyone else share this humble, almost religious political correctness with me?

(Keep in mind that this is by no means a question of being greedy versus generous, I enjoy receiving gifts and kind words as much as anyone else, but it just a different sensation.)

i wont lie there isnt a selfish bone in my body i love to give. i would always take gifts from christmas and give them to charity the next day . i love to give oral sex then get . the only thing i like getting more then giving is money . i love getting money but **** giving it to the goverment

I still feel more pleasure recieving than giving, but yeah, it does make me happy to give someone something whenever possible.



Now, what you have to ask yourselves is, am I still talking about oral sex or not? Hmmm ... we have ourselves a conundrum

I prefer receiving gifts because im **** at actually thinking of good gifts.

I don't really like getting stuff from people because most of they time they don't know what I want/need. I don't really need anything, and most of the stuff I want is too expensive, and when I get a gift sometimes it can be uncomfortable because most of the time it's a damn shirt (I'm picky about my gear) or a gift card to a restaurant (I am trying to watch my weight), or just cheap ****.

I don't even really like getting money because then I feel like I'm ripping someone off. Dunno, that's just the way I am. I do feel satisfaction when I give a gift and know that it's exactly what they wanted. I am good at that.

I used to date this girl. She wouldn't let me get her anything. Even to the point of not letting me pay for her dinner, her movie ticket, or stuff. I would literally beg her sometimes, "look baby... just let me be the boyfriend, just once in a while, please!" It drove me crazy.

Makes me feel good to give my good friends a gift, not even on their birthday or anything like that.

I prefer giving. Most of the time when people give me **** they either give me something that I have absolutely no interest in, or something that just takes up space that I don't have.

I feel a little awkward, if sometimes pleasant when somebody considers me worth it, that somebody wanted to go to the trouble to get something for me. That probably why I like giving better also.

I donated a bunch of used clothes I dont wear so you could say im a kind person, some are like brand new and in fashion.
