I'm just curious how you feel about giving and receiving. When I was younger, I always hated that my parents would say how they enjoyed giving presents away more than receiving them.
As I've grown though, it has begun making more and more sense to me. So now I can honestly say that I like it more giving presents or compliments away than taking them. There's just a special feeling when you know someone you like feels good because you tell them something nice or to see their eyes when they unwrap a present.
Does anyone else share this humble, almost religious political correctness with me?
(Keep in mind that this is by no means a question of being greedy versus generous, I enjoy receiving gifts and kind words as much as anyone else, but it just a different sensation.)
