As is often the case, what they are really like is secondary to how they seem to be to the consumer. The lot of them could be awful people, but it wouldn't bother me the slightest as long as I'm unaware of it. Perhaps they "can't fuck", but it doesn't really matter if they don't do anything to reveal that. Considering that the chances that I'd get to personally try them are astronomical, it really isn't that important.

Well, what have I (read: we) done to deserve it? It's up to them to decide what they are comfortable with, not me, isn't it? I often encounter this kind of attitude towards musicians or actors etc., and I just don't get it. If an artist releases an album that it noticeably different from their previous one, they have suddenly betrayed their fans. The way I see it, they provide a commodity, and it's up to everyone to decide if they want to pay for it or not. Just because you liked and bought the previous album, it doesn't mean the artist owes you anything (any debt is settled in the simple exchange of currency for goods and/or services), and it's certainly no guarantee that you'll like the next one. As long as they don't pretend it's something else, it's your own fault if you buy it.

All of this is probably correct, but most of us don't know these girls personally and porn is not about reality, but about fantasy (& this goes for hardcore as well, although it's a slightly different fantasy).

They should be honest about their site(s) though. If they claim you can find stuff on their site & you find out later (after becoming a member) find out that the promised content is not there, then you've essentially been cheated upon.
