Tasers, oh god the tasers. I can't count how many times I walk out of a club to find 2-3 lil red dots on my shirt and some cop saying "Move along" because some juice monkey decieded it would be funny to punch a cop. Morons like that guy (the drunk) ruin everyone else's fun because it forces the officer to be defensive about anyone else in the area.

I was very impressed by that Deputy. He was completely polite and evasive and only used his taser when he had to.

Has anybody ever seen the videos where the person is heavily drugged up and there are about five tasers stuck in him and he feels nothing? I always worry about what the cop will have to do in that situation.

yeah, I know but I was going with the flow and Earl seemed appropriate.

They had a huge problem with that in the Victoria/Vancouver areas about 6-7 years ago with some alteration on some drug by lacing, coined the "Superman drug". Non-lethal force is no longer an option of the guy can't feel any pain. They were forced to knock him out which sent human-rights advocates running to high heavens screaming.

In a situation like that, there is very little an officer can do. Just be glad they did something instead of let the guy get to you.
