and it's not against the law or considered murder to have sex with someone when you have AIDS.

Excuse me? Several US states have laws against having sex when you knowingly have AIDS! Not that they are enforced much at all.

I never inserted for a reason. Yeah, I could have gotten STDs for some other things I did, but the chance was reduced (and I was more careful later on in that regard anyway).

Well, that's one place I'll differ with you on! Now if it was just kissing and mammary and other outercourse, with no oral sex, I've probably done it. It would not surprise me if one former love had at least one STD. But in 13 years of dedication to one woman, and numerous tests, I'm clean. Not bad for being with almost 50 women before her without a condom (and never inserting) -- in the prime and ignorance of the late '80s and early '90s.
