It was pretty good. The ending was absolutely awful though, fuck. The new spooks were really funny, especially the new Stay Puft guys.
It was a good balance of safe and nostalgia, and tied into the first film very well. I thought the ending could have been reworked a bit to connect them all as mentors/mentees rather than the clumsy predictable "surprise" cameos.
As a child/young adult in the 80's it was very enjoyable.
