the whole reason for WiiU is for nintendo to have a consode that keeps up with PS3 and XBOX 360. it was a mistake for Nintendo to use dual layered DVD's for the Wii. however, with that said i will probably buy it after the first price drop

I haven't seen any games that have "wowed" me yet. I'll probably eventually get one and I definitely do see the potential of using this kind of controller, but I'll wait

I usually wait until the price drops a lot until I buy a console.

I will buy a newer Playstation before I buy this. If I ever buy a WiiU.

I like Nintendo's fun party game style and always Mario Bros but I wouldn't spend money on it since Im dedicated already to my Xbox.
I would be buying a PS3 before a Wii U.

The controller itself is the whole gimick and yet it will not be available for sale separately at launch because most games will not support 2 controllers at once...yet.

So passing the Wii U controller around doesn't seem like much fun with a bunch of friends eager to try it out.

But I do like how much more interactive games are, like ZombiU below.

I will, in fact I pre-ordered it, the deluxe version. Along with ninja gaiden 3 and warriors orochi 3 hyper.

I have a strong feeling that this thing will end up the same way as the first Wii did.\

A crap load of people will rush out to get one,play it for a few weeks,realize that the novelty isn't really all that it's cracked up to be,then it will collect a 2 inch thick coating of dust.

You would've thought that one of the first games that they would develop for it would be a Metroid game,but seems like they are already dropping the ball on that opportunity.
