Ok I have just watched a couple of her hardcore scenes and having defended Bluebird Films in the past I got to admit the whole Bluebird setup is downright cheesy and incredibly naff!
Dialogue and acting is appalling and can they just quit with the coloured stockings and suspenders PLEASE?? It would be nice to see the girl naked for one scene at least!

Ok rant over and if we can ignore the negatives I have to say it is fucking awesome to see Gemma doing this really it is and she looks so fucking hot I forget who is fucking her and just go with it.
Any way it is early days I guess so let’s see where she goes with it. She needs to take some big cock soon and I think the next movie she has been filming in ‘America’ with some big porn star names looks to be very promising indeed.

never have i seen such an outpouring of feeling about a website- line after line of text saying how crap bluebird is. can't be bothered to read it all. why does anyone care so much. they aren't forcing anyone to pay for it! for what its worth i went on the ********* website and thought it was really good-gemma's scenes were great.

I don't care about Bluebird at all. They could disappear tomorrow and I would be happy. I care about Gemma and the other women that are pretty much having their careers being made a mockery of and other shady things that seem to be going on there. That‘s the reason. If it wasn't for them and other potential people that could be hurt I could write off Bluebird in an instant and never care about the company. Despite what some may believe I actually would much rather NOT have to say bad things about Gemma or her work or even Bluebird. I would much rather things have went better than they have been and be praising everything she does.

Plus the more people bitch the more other people, other professionals in the business, especially good if it's the woman that perform, but also every body else and even other fans might come across this and realize it's better not to have anything to do with them. At this point it's as much complaining for everybody else's benefit than the people already working with them because at some level what Gemma and others have done can't be changed. At best only further damage for the people working with them can be mitigated.

However, if a bunch of people having legitimate grips and concerns and voicing them keeps other people from making dumb ass decisions then it's worth it to me. There needs to be something to keep a check on all the enablers, and there are a lot in the industry, out there that don't care about reality or often people other than themselves. I'm just sorry that some of the performers might end up being object lessons because of the reality of the situation to show that. And who knows maybe if people keep speaking up, even as egotistical, uncaring, and out of touch as some of the people running that place seem to be maybe despite themselves if we are very very lucky they will be forced to admit their shortcomings and actually change for once for the better and stop continually doing the dumb crap they do. Maybe there will even be a chance some of the women working for them will take a step back and look at reality and consider what people are saying instead of just listening to whatever lines Bluebird and other industry clique people around them are feeding them.

It might be the realization that a bunch of ugly old geezers are actually fucking the shit out of our favourite glamour models. For the Money and nothing else, its business that’s all. :nannerf1:

I can deal with it but I can see how it would piss some people off as a lot of guys are quite protective of these girls and how they are treated in the porn world. Some girls are quite naive and get exploited but to be honest I don’t know what the big problem with Bluebird is. :dunno: If it wasn't for them and Paul Chaplin we would never have seen Gemma do this on camera.

I have seen Gemma and some of the other UK glamour models in action on and off camera and they seem genuinely happy and content in what they are doing. Along with a big fat pay check at the end of the day too.

We have to remember that in porn years Gemma and friends are just beginners, they have made a handful of films between them. Jenna Jameson had to start somewhere and she ended up making over 150 movies in her career and she had a good ten years but not all of her films were great. I can only hope Gemma makes the same. ;)

its quite interesting really. i personally love the fact that she has done hardcore and i think the bluebird stuff is quite good though i've only looked at the pictures.

if people are concerned that she is being exploited that is interesting. perhaps they know much more than i do about it. she doesn't need the plastic surgery and if she has been persuaded to get it for a more marketable look (plastic) then thats a shame but i'm afraid more than part of me likes the fake look.

its an interesting thing though, sometimes men watch porn partially because they want to see women exploited, and sometimes because they just like the women.

this has all certainly provoked some extreme reactions.....

i did think the interview she gave on newsbeat was kind of weird the link to it is somewhere on the last 3 or 4 pages of this thread. she was talking about how companies would buy her a house probably if she wanted it. that was what she said. perhaps its true........ but if not true a very strange thing to say, hence perhaps a little worrying.

Three of my favorites, who I considered among the most naturally beautiful of ALL pornstars, have completely ruined their appearance with plastic surgery. Gemma, Lela Star, and Monique Alexander (throw in the tats as well for her).

What is it that makes them think that lips like that look good? Seriously, I'd like to know. It's an amazing turn off. And that's in addition to getting boob jobs when they already have A+ natural boobs.

For the record I don't object to her going hardcore. To be brutally honest it's not something I would ever want to personally do and the way the porn industry is right now I do feel it's a strategically bad decision from both a career standpoint and the effects it has one's life in a negative way for somebody that even both does want to do it and is cut out for it, but maybe she truly is getting what they claim to be paying her and it's one of the very very few times recently where somebody is getting paid enough to be worth it. (Although the rate at witch she keep claiming to buy expensive things it makes me wonder how long the money will last.) It's a path few can handle well and it's not for everybody, but I'm not objecting to anything she does involving normal full hardcore if that's what she wants to do.

As far as Chaplin, it's not just that he's not good looking or can't perform. That's bad enough. It would be like the owner of your favorite major professional sports team being arrogant enough to feel the need to put himself on the team, make himself the coach, and play even though he sucks, can't play nowhere near the level needed or even do better than what a regular guy could do, and hurts his team and his product badly while wondering why everybody, even the team's fans, don't like him.

It's not that he gets to screw the women he does either. If in her prime Gemma came up to me, wanted me, and offered me sex for free I would turn her down. I don't desire to sleep around with every beautiful woman I've ever seen and casual sex isn't my thing. It's not a jealously thing, although I do have to wonder about people that would lower themselves to a certain point for that much money.

What bothers me the most above even his inability to belong in his productions is the almost palpable level of sleaze and egotisticalness that seems to roll off the guy. Like I said before by appearances his company seems nothing more than a de facto prostitution ring for him to have sex with the women he does, and to live in some porn fantasy life for his own benefit like he's playing a game instead of actually wanting to run a legitimate company, let alone one that puts out the best product it can. Maybe the guy just doesn't care and is doing it just for himself. Maybe everybody in the company just doesn't give a crap about what people like me say here and other places. In that case he can't really complain when others don't like him.

As others have mentioned before all the plastic surgery and other body alterations Gemma is getting is very worrying.

To be honest I'm getting to the point where I just don't feel like harping on any of this anymore. There is only so much I care to bang my head against the wall on this subject when nothing is probably going to change, and also I'm sure others are getting tired of having to go through my long complaints here. If it was somebody else writing this I might even feel the same way. Not only that but there isn't too much more I can add at this point. I've feel I said what needs to be said. I'll just say that I wish the best for her both professionally and personally. I don't think that's going to happen, but it's what I would like to see, and try to leave the long statements at what I have already written.
