ummm jews control the democratic party, or did i miss something in the last hour?
I think that there are a lot of issues where gay people agree with republicans, taxes, national defense etc. I also think that being gay doesn't mean that you are for everything else controversial. I think gay republicans would be libertarians, however, they oppose **** leaglization, and abortion though.
Are you not familiar with the GOP's stance on gay and lesbian rights? They believe it's a sin and don't support gay marriage. Here's where some of the GOP presidential candidates stand on the issue

That's the point... Jewish people vote very heavily Democratic, which makes no sense to me, as the Democratic party-- historically and even more so contemporarily-- shows no support for Israel and the Jewish lobby in general. The Republican party has been a far greater champion of Israel and defending the Jewish cause than the Democrats. Obama has been kowtowing to the Arabs since his first day in office, apologizing for, and blaming America for Arabs' lot in life; making concessions to Palestine and Hamas; chiding Netanyahu since his inauguration, not to mention snubbing him at his most recent visit to the White House; on and on and on....
Basically, when considering what it might take for Jews to vote conservative, it pans out to:
I guess socialized healthcare and federally subsidized, legal abortion is more important to Jews than Israel. :dunno:
I **** how people are so "all or nothing". Enough said.
There are gays in the republican party because gay's like stright people are a diverse group. Gays are not all the same , who think the same and act the same. Gay's have diff views and opinions on matters of economics, law, freedom and liberty and social issues. It's rather offensive and narrow minded to think that gay's cant have views that light up more with the republican party than the democrat party.
