Gaming PC For Under $1000?

I'm looking for a new gaming pc (or laptop) - something that will run the newer titles like MW3 and Skyrim.

Preferably something under $1000 (?)

Any recommendations? :dunno:

good luck to ya! I've never looked into a gaming PC as they are WAY to expensive. And constantly need to be upgraded. Granted consoles are to fuckin expensive as well, considering their limitations. But 3k for a computer JUST to play video games...seems a bit excessive. Also I'd imagine when it comes to gaming PC's you wouldn't want low end components ruining your gaming experience.

That being said I have a couple friends who've built their own gaming PC's though I've never talked with them about em as I have no interest in doing the same. If I remember I'll talk price next time I see em.

Check out www.tigerdirect.ca, Shifty. There is usually good stuff on there for cheap. I'm not much of a PC gamer, but I know Lenovo offers high quality at about $700-800, but that won't include your monitor and stuff...just a powerhouse tower.

Also, building your own will probably save you $1000. :2 cents:

I got mine from these guys and am fairly happy with it. Just make sure if you're having it shipped to mention to them that you don't want the hard drive installed as you'll do it yourself. With mine it came loose during shipping and luckily it didn't damage anything.

Thanks guys! Yes Diva, I have bought from Tiger Direct. I'll likely do so again. I'm thinking prebuilt, and I already have a nice monitor.
