I don't even think Gabbie was trying to play the LA game, I think she's just genuinely a spiteful and jealous person. When David and Liza had fewer followers than her, she treated them like sidekicks. She once did a "prank" video where she called Liza, pretended to be mad at her, and said that if she didn't watch her mouth, she'd have to move back to Texas because Gabbie would make sure she had no connections in LA. It was just proof that she wanted Liza, David, and anyone else "beneath" her in numbers to be kissing her ass 24/7.
Then David and Liza started dating, and Gabbie threw a fucking fit for months. When David was single, he was a "little bitch" that she only hung out with because she could get him to do stuff for her. When he's dating someone, he's her "best friend" that she used to hang out with all the time. It's clear that Gabbie didn't have feelings for David until he was off the market and dating someone that was quickly surpassing her in numbers. She didn't even appreciate his company.

If they're more successful, then they have to be less attractive, if they're more attractive, then they have to be less successful. Like Andrew for example, he's attractive, I would say outside Gabbie's league, but she managed to feel superior around him because he was unemployed.

I agree with all that you said! I just think that maybe a few years back she actually had a plan. She had her vine fame and actually transitioned well to the youtube platform, she had the 'Vlog Squad' following with all the Zane/Gabbie clickbait, she released her book, had TRL, her generic music, and then...what? It all got to her, because she noticed she wasn't at at the 'top' anymore and because of how she distanced herself from everyone, she didn't have content. Her peers surpassed her because they were actually playing 'the game'. Getting sponsors, clickbaiting, climbing off each other's fame. She is so lost, she is now putting this 'i don't know anythng about makeup, make me a beautuber' persona which is ???? to me since she sports a full face of makeup since her vine days (and she did it much better back then).

I've never seen this before but if there was any small part of me that still liked her, it's definitely gone now. Prank or not, if you care about someone and consider them your friend, you don't do shit like that. Everyone always says David is a sociopath and he definitely has those tendencies, but at least he owns and doesn't hide it pretending to be this sweet innocent angel like Gabbie. Gabbie is the Taylor Swift of YouTube lol not in terms of talent by any means but no one in her squad can be more famous or successful than she is and when they start obtaining success in their own right they get dropped (like Liza or Emma Stone)

I wasn't at all surprised that she shaded The Vlog Squad on Shane's podcast. She needed a way to bring them down a peg and justify why the.y're videos do better than hers. These were all people she used to (and still does) look down on, so of course, she's not happy about their success. If she could've found a way to shade Liza, she would've done it. Too bad there's no bullshit cop out that she can blame Liza's achievements on. People just like her more.
Gabbie distanced herself because she never actually liked the Vlog Squad. When you watch the old videos, you can see her sense of entitlement and her huge superiority complex. She acted like it was a chore to hang out with everyone when in reality she had no other friends. Now that everyone is basically on the same level in terms of views and fame, she's done. Because hanging out with them now would mean admitting that these people are her equals, and she'd never do that.

Also, Jesus H Christ. That "prank" was... gross. It was way too real and I'm shocked Gabbie was willing to put such an ugly side of her on youtube because that shit did not seem like she was putting it on as an act. Just the way she spoke to Liza and the garbage that spewed from her mouth... It just gives you so much insight into the horrible way she thinks and the way she sees these "friends" of hers. I agree with all that you said! I just think that maybe a few years back she actually had a plan. She had her vine fame and actually transitioned well to the youtube platform, she had the 'Vlog Squad' following with all the Zane/Gabbie clickbait, she released her book, had TRL, her generic music, and then...what? It all got to her, because she noticed she wasn't at at the 'top' anymore and because of how she distanced herself from everyone, she didn't have content. Her peers surpassed her because they were actually playing 'the game'. Getting sponsors, clickbaiting, climbing off each other's fame. She is so lost, she is now putting this 'i don't know anythng about makeup, make me a beautuber' persona which is ???? to me since she sports a full face of makeup since her vine days (and she did it much better back then).

I talked about this before, I said that this girl I know has a personality that reminds me a lot of gabbie! She seems to only hang out with girls that are less attractive than her, and she never hung out with me until I started gaining weight, she would tell me that I'm gaining weight and bring me down then when I lost it, she started alienating herself from me.
You literally summed up Gabbie's mentality. She can't feel confident and superior enough around people more successful or attractive than her. If they're more successful, then they have to be less attractive, if they're more attractive, then they have to be less successful. Like Andrew for example, he's attractive, I would say outside Gabbie's league, but she managed to feel superior around him because he was unemployed.
Exactly and as for this "Gabbie vs Liza" thing, anyone who thinks Gabbie is prettier than Liza is INSANE. Makeup or no makeup, Liza out ranks Gabbie. I'd also rather have Liza's body than Gabbie's flabby arms and cellulite butt. I legit couldn't believe it when I saw people debating this.
I've never seen this before but if there was any small part of me that still liked her, it's definitely gone now. Prank or not, if you care about someone and consider them your friend, you don't do shit like that. Everyone always says David is a sociopath and he definitely has those tendencies, but at least he owns and doesn't hide it pretending to be this sweet innocent angel like Gabbie. I can't believe she would pull that shit especially knowing Liza is sensitive. Never tell your enemy's your weaknesses because hags like Gabbie will ALWAYS use them against you.
Ofc I've thought of a lot of pranks I could pull on friends but then I actually think about how they would react and I can't ever go through with it. And none have ever been anywhere near as ruthless as hers. I'd never do something to someone that I wouldn't want done to me because karma is VERY real. That's why Gabbie is sitting on social media lonely af now with just her crocodile tears and salty attitude.
As for the Gabbie vs. Liza debate, Gabbie could lose all the weight in the world and get work done by the top plastic surgeons in the country, but there is no changing that hideous personality. I have yet to see Liza ever stoop down to her level and because of that Gabbie will always be hideous in comparison. Wouldn't even matter if Gabbie was a super model because looks fade, but an ugly heart is forever.

Not sure why i can't edit my post but I just saw the video. I didn't realize it was such an old one. And I'm sensitive myself and if a friend called me angrily saying those things I would probably freak out not knowing what I did, and i'd have a hard time trusting them again. I never got the prank phone call trend though, I feel like it's cruel and serves no other purpose than making people look stupid.

I love how her excuse for not cleaning was that she kept telling herself she should be filming, editing, writing, or working out. Yet her content has been absolute garbage for a while now. Ugh no I really loved how it's been without her leechy, holier than thou, desperate ass. I cringe so much at how she used to act around Zane. She's so transparent going via the easiest links. Josh is the sweetest guy around and would never turn down a collab with someone he knows. And Liza is also too nice and polite not to text Gabbie back if/when Gabbie does reach out to her.
