That's how it feels for us (and that was really the complaint from the beginning). The reality is she spent 6 months in the business. 6 months is a pretty long time in the career of a porn starlet. A girl who isn't locked into an exclusive can shoot 50+ scenes in that time.

Of course she was going to leave the business at some point suddenly, all the Andie Valentino, Cayton Cailey, conventionally hotter girls do. They get people in their ear telling them they're too hot to do porn constantly.

This is the reason some of us were complaining from the outset. Are any of you guys happy with the porn career of Gabriella Fox? Because this was how it was going to go, and it was obvious from the very beginning. All the pseudo celebrity stuff Digital Playground tied her into with the main stream music video and the premiers and all that crap just accelerated her departure. All sorts of dudes and male celebrity types were probably trying to seize on her, telling her all sorts of shit, guilting her, to try and bag her for themselves. This girl was waaay to hot in the first place.

If she hadn't have been under contract to DP we would have gotten alot more scenes. Believe that. And the scenes we did get? Those suck so bad I've watched all of them combined probably 4 times. Horrible replay value. This was a frustrating experience to say the least. Hottest girl to come along and this is how it went. Shit sucks.

This man knows what he's talking about.

The punchline of the joke is that the playing field for her in mainstream non-hardcore media evens pretty fast.

What in the decades porn has been around, you have Tracy Lords and her recurring role on a half dozen episodes of Melrose Place?

To the mainstream world, she is now damaged goods.

Maybe she'll hit the lotto and will find the one guy out of 1000 with some bucks who will sugar daddy her. More likely, she'll get tapped and tossed by a succession of losers.

No indictment of her. Just the reality.

Her best bet probably would have been to do the 50 plus brazzers type scenes in 12 months, bank the money and then go do what she wants.

She is now forever in the club whatever she goes and tries next. She may as well get full value out of that membership.

I know we all would have liked that.

...Or maybe she just didn't like it and it found the porn route was not all it was cracked up to be. I'm not saying that's what happened, but unless you know something we don't your being a little presumptuous. For most people that get into porn it is probably a mistake for them. A select small percentage of people are really cut out for it, a lot less than actually get into it. I could also mention there were probably more idiot porners out there whispering in her ears about how great the industry was than the people trying to get her out of it.

You're kidding right? Tell us more about what happens for "most people" who get into porn since you know all about it. You're making exactly the same types of assumptions, they're just your version of them. Some very generic assumptions. Of course there's a basic element of Gabriella making the simple choice on her own, that's a no brainer isn't it? Not only are you missing the point, you're not reading and comprehending some of the basic stuff you're responding to.

Look, feel free to share your view, but don't come in here just as clueless as anyone else trying to correct people. It looks stupid. I feel confident doing my best to understand the mentality and character of an excessively hot 19 year old girl who was ushered into the business by a friend far removed from her class and demographic based in this part of the world. I grew up here. I've been around this business. I know alot more about this situation in it's actuality than you obviously realize. I'm not doing nearly as much guesswork as you think.

I am curious about one thing though - who are these "pornsters" that are whispering in her ear for her to stay in the business, and what does that have to do with the fact that all the people that have been named are not in the industry, specifically? You show exactly how much you understand the full picture here by making that statement. You'd be surprised what reality is actually like. It's not a cartoonish Hollywood stereotype. And it's alot more interesting and complex than you have tried to make it sound. That's the obvious difference between someone who is guessing and someone who is speaking from direct experience. The vultures here don't care about the fucking "industry," they care about themselves. Somebody who knows what they're talking about undertands that.
