G.W. Bush's Resume'

Some of you will like this, some of you won't...whatever. It ought to spark some interesting conversation:

RESUME

GEORGE W. BUSH

1600 Pennsylvania Avenue ,

Washington, DC 20520

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

LAW ENFORCEMENT

I was arrested in Kennebunkport, Maine, in 1976 for driving under the influence of alcohol. I pled guilty, paid a fine, and had my driver's license suspended for 30 days. My Texas driving record has been "lost" and is not available.

MILITARY

I joined the Texas Air National Guard and went AWOL. I refused to take a drug test or answer any questions about my drug use. By joining the Texas Air National Guard, I was able to avoid combat duty in Vietnam.

COLLEGE

I graduated from Yale University with a low C average. I was a cheerleader.

PAST WORK EXPERIENCE

I ran for U.S. Congre! ss and lost. I began my career in the oil business in Midland, Texas, in 1975. I bought an oil company, but couldn't find any oil in Texas. The company went bankrupt shortly after I sold all my stock.

I bought the Texas Rangers baseball team in a sweetheart deal that took land using taxpayer money. With the help of my father and our friends in the oil industry, including Enron CEO Ken Lay, I was elected governor of Texas!

ACCOMPLISHMENTS AS GOVERNOR OF TEXAS

I changed Texas pollution laws to favor power and oil companies, making Texas the most polluted state in the Union. During my tenure, Houston replaced Los Angeles as the most smog-ridden city in America. I cut taxes and bankrupted the Texas treasury to the tune of billions in borrowed money. I set the record for the most executions by any governor in American history. With the help of my brother, the governor of Florida, and my father's appointments to the Supreme Court, I became President a! fter lo sing by over 500,000 votes.

ACCOMPLISHMENTS AS PRESIDENT

I am the first President in U.S. history to enter office with a criminal record. I invaded and occupied two countries at a continuing cost of over one billion dollars per week. I spent the U.S. surplus and effectively bankrupted the U.S. Treasury. I shattered the record for the largest annual deficit in U.S. history. I set an economic record for most private bankruptcies filed in 12-month period. I set the all-time record for most foreclosures in a 12-month period. I set the all-time record for the biggest drop in the history of the U.S. stock market.

In my first year in office, over 2 million Americans lost their jobs and that trend continues every month.

I'm proud that the members of my cabinet are the richest of any administration in U.S. history. My "poorest millionaire," Condoleeza Rice, had a Chevron oil tanker named after her. I set the! record for most campaign fund-raising trips by a U.S. President. I am the all-time U.S. and world record-holder for receiving the most corporate campaign donations. My largest lifetime campaign contributor, and one of my best friends, Kenneth Lay, presided over the largest corporate bankruptcy fraud in U.S. History, Enron. He has now been convicted of 6 counts of securities fraud, etc.

My political party used Enron private jets and corporate attorneys to assure my success with the U.S. Supreme Court during my election decision. I have protected my friends at Enron and Halliburton against investigation or prosecution. More time and money was spent investigating the Monica Lewinsky affair than has been spent investigating one of the biggest corporate rip- offs in history.

I presided over the biggest energy crisis in U.S. history and refus! ed to i ntervene when corruption involving the oil industry was revealed. I presided over the highest gasoline prices in U.S. history. I changed the U.S. policy to allow convicted criminals to be awarded government contracts. I appointed more convicted criminals to administration than any President in U.S. history. I created the Ministry of Homeland Security, the largest bureaucracy in the history of the United States government.

I've broken more international treaties than any President in U.S. history. I am the first President in U.S. history to have the United Nations remove the U.S. from the Human Rights Commission. I withdrew the U.S . from the World Court of Law. I refused to allow inspectors access to U.S. "prisoners of war" detainees and thereby have refused to abide by the Geneva Convention. I am the first President in history to refuse United Nations election inspectors (during the 2002 U.S. election). I set the record for fewest numbers of press conferences of any President since the advent of television. I set the all-time record for most days on vacation in any one-year period. After taking off the entire month of August, I presided over the worst security failure in U.S. history. I garnered the most sympathy for the U.S. after the World Trade Center attacks and less than a year later made the U.S. the most hated country in the world, the largest failure of diplomacy in world history.

I have set the all-time record for most people worldwide to simultaneously protest me in public venues (15 million people), shattering the record for protests against any person in the history of mankind.

I am the first President in U.S. history to order an unprovoked, pre-emptive attack and the military occupation of a sovereign nation. I did so against the will of the United Nations, the majority of U.S. citizens, and the world community. I have cut health care benefits for war veterans and support a cut in duty benefits for active duty troops and their families-in-wartime. In my State of the Union Address, I lied about our reasons for attacking Iraq and then blamed the lies on our British friends. I am the first President in history to have a majority of Europeans (71%) view my presidency as the biggest threat to world peace and security. I am supporting development of a nuclear "Tactical Bunker Buster," a WMD. I have so far failed to fulfill my pledge to bring Osama Bin Laden to justice.

RECORDS AND REFERENCES

All records of my tenure as governor of Texas are now in my father's library, sealed and unavailable for public view. All records of SEC investigations into my insider trading and my bankrupt companies are sealed in secrecy and unavailable for public view. All records or minutes from meetings that I, or my Vice-President, attended regarding public energy policy are sealed in secrecy and unavailable for public review.

I am a member of the Republican Party.

PLEASE CONSIDER MY EXPERIENCE WHEN VOTING IN THE 2006 MIDTERM ELECTIONS.

perhaps you should do the same with Kerry and Clinton. That reminds me the attitude of Nightfly's and Brino's with their constant whining about bush.

Or maybe I'm living in the present rather than the past like so many other people who have to bring up now-irrelivant arguements about Clinton whenever something surfaces about Bush that makes him look bad.

Criminal record? I dui is a mistedmenor, not a felony

A misdemeanor is still a crime, hence the criminal record.

You right wingers should erect a statue to Bill Clinton....he is your ultimate phony excuse for justifying the illogical and superfluous reactionism that you so totally embrace in spite of what the actual facts might say.

I live in Texas and in the USA. Where do you live??? Bush sucked as a governor and he sucks as a president and he'll continue to suck as long as he is alive.

As for Kerry....he was a very average student and beyond that I don't think his dossier even remotely approaches the shortcomings of one Mr. G.W. Bush.

I am French that is true but I also have family living in USA and have been to USA several times. Yes I would like Bush to be my leader because at least he isn't like Chirac who treated Saddam and Yasser Arafat as friends, he also reinstated the right to own full auto weapons, the problem wasn't the weapons but the people who own them. Most of the weapons used in crimes are stolen weapons or weapons with a serial numbers erased or weapons from the former USSR republics. When you have gangs, criminals or drug dealers having them it is then posing a real problem. I also don't like Chirac foreign policy. At least Bush fights terrorism and has given a serious hit to Al Quaeda network as well as removed Saddam from Iraq (tough some may argue here that the war was useless)
Politcially I was always from the right wing and if you ask me what is the best president USA ever had, I will answer you Ronald Reagan without any hesitation. Also applying death penalty any type of criminals is something appreciated sadly in France death penalty was abolished by socialists in 1981 (which was a very stupid decision) and Chirac made a law for making it never reinstatable.

I agree with the death penalty, certain crimes deserve certain punishment. But Bush and Reagan bankrupted America. Coming from the lower class, I can tells you that if France were run by Reagan or Bush, or Damn even Clinton, the drug community would be rife with automatic rifles and blood would run through the streets. France has been torn more by War than any Country in the twentieth century. Trench warfare was imposed for years, and just when France was rebuilding it was steamrolled by the Germans, then steamrolled by the Allies. I think France does deserve the same status as America and China, but IMO a leader like Bush or Reagan is not the answer. But you current leaders seem to have their heads up their asses too.

France is the perfect place to start a true European Nation, I just hope the Country is strong enough to support such a radical change, without falling into the disarray that I feel America has fallen into.

But if you want Bush He's a free agent in 2008, and He's all yours.

lol at george bush...lol indeed.

the problem wasn't the weapons but the people who own them

And there is no better example of that than George W. Bush.

Don't worry Georges, I also think Clinton was a snake oil salesman of a buffoon and the only liberal leanings I have are legalizing marijuana and prostitution but the US is on the precipice of staggering inflation, rising taxes, and rising interest rates. GW's administration has languished in it's role of intimidator, ruling by force of fear and paranoia and I'm ready to see them fucking gone. Where's the fucking oil George? That's the only reason he invaded and he still can't even get that right. Silver spoon douche bag playin' cowboy with all his little buddies. Loser.

Come on Analfan! If you're going to neg rep a guy for a thread he starts, at least have the balls to say something about it in public! I understand why you did it though. I exercised my so called god given right of freedom of speech to express my dissatisfaction with my government. How dare I do so, and while we're at it, how dare those people that we now call patriots do it back in their day and age.

Hahahaha!!!... some of the fella's are going to be pissed about that.
Most of it is true, some others are only true from a point of view.
Like the number of bankruptcies and other details -- totally ignore the state of the economy in Clinton's last year, then the results of 9/11, then the Katrinia disaster.
Clinton "set some records" on "negative growth" in his last year in office, but no one talks about that. ;)

Other is just general rhetoric.
E.g., the 2000 election entries are not remotely factual.
Jeb had nothing to do with W. winning the 2000 election, Kathern Harris did.

Someone's been watching too much Michael Moore.
