Lemme think of some lesser-known ones:
Broadway Danny Rose--Woody Allen's B+W biopic of fictitious theatrical manager Danny Rose told in flashback. Rose is played by Allen, and his list of acts includes a blind xylophone player and a one-legged tap dancer.
Foul Play--Chevy Chase and Goldie Hawn get involved in a plot to kill the Pope. Hilarious throughout, with great work from an unknown Dudley Moore.
Stripes--Bill Murray drags 30ish buddy Harold Ramis into the Army. All-star cast including John Candy, Judge Reinhold and John Larrouquette.
Arsenic And Old Lace--Cary Grant at his best as the engaged playboy and nephew of two old women who rent rooms out to old men who suddenly disappear.
The Frisco Kid--Rabbi Gene Wilder teams up with good-hearted outlaw Harrison Ford in this hilarious "western."
Being There--One of Peter Sellers' last films, where he plays a homebound gardener whose only knowledge of the outside world is what he's seen on television.
Casanova's Big Night--A Bob Hope classic in which he assumes the identity of the great lover--a man who just happens to be in debt and on the run.
The Survivors--Walter Matthau teams up with Robin Williams as two down-on-their-luck guys who end up at a survivalist camp while avoiding a hitman only they can ID.
The Gods Must Be Crazy!--Inspired humor interlocking several stories revolving around the discovery of a Coke bottle by a tribe of forgotten people.
Defending Your Life--Albert Brooks dies, and goes to Judgment City where he has to convince them to let him "move on" instead of being "sent back." Great cast includes Meryl Streep and Rip Torn.
