I'm mad at ND because they are a bunch of stuck up, yuppie, pricks! And everywhere I go all I see is notre dame ****. Shirts, posters, signs, it's fuckin sickening. Their football program is complete ****. They put their QB's in the pros and they aren't **** once they get there. Joe Montana is the only one worth a fuck I can think of who came out of notre dame. When was the last time they even had a good season? Back when black and white tv was the norm! So much fan fare over such a shitty team is fuckin pitiful.

maleonetwo Notre Dame used to indeed be very good, 11 National Championships I think, it should be 12 because they got screwed on a phantom clip call on Rocket Ismail's kick return in the 1990 Orange Bowl against Colorado that would have won the game!

I don't know why anyone would loathe them, they haven't had a decent football team in, in...decades. I do give them credit though for actually having a decent DI hockey club recently and fielding some pretty decent basketball clubs in recent memory as well.

As far as college football in general though, it's all a bunch of fucking ****. How many clubs have paid for their titles over the vast amount of time the last several decades? Could be dozens, seriously, and you know none of those fuckwad players actually do any writing or research - they leave that up to the cheerleaders they are balling on the side. I have little to no respect for any of them. The ones that actually take the educational side of that opportunity seriously, kudos to them.

The media and everyone treats these players as gods. Its just fuckin disgusting. And yet another reason for why I **** this school.

Someone needs to refresh my memory on why the elite/blue chip high school players mostly stopped going to the blue, green and gold. Was it academics? I can't recall what it was but my friend - a big Notre Dame fan - told me a while back.

Everyone used to all want to go to Notre Dame just because of how prolific the school's football team always was back in the day.
