Election boards, officials and administrators who can tamper with ballots, equipment, and results

It has struck me that both liberals and conservatives have their fears about funny business on or around election day. In previous elections, there have been allegations of foul play within election boards and with the voting machines and systems they administer. This time around, while there is still plenty of attention from liberals on that possibility again occurring, the fraud issue that is getting much more media attention (despite the media allegedly being "liberally-biased" - huh, can anyone explain that to me?) is ACORN and their voter registration drives, something that seems to primarily be a concern coming from the right.
