Freeones Should Moderate Posts

I think that the moderators of Freeones should try to moderate posts like moderators do in Yahoo Groups. I just don't like seeing racial slurs like that guy who used the "n" word the other day. I think that the moderators should at least review the posts before they go up, and they can decide if the post doesn't offend anyone.

They would have to get quite a few more mods to do that. People post an incredible amount on here everyday so it would be a huge job to have to go through all of them before they are posted. They already have to look at all of the pics. I agree that I don't like to see that stuff, either and if Freeones was a smaller board it would work...but damn that would be a lot of posts!

that would make the forum process far too SLOW just like the picture thing which i have never been a fan of. The mods should check more often and a 'report' function should be used to report bad posts which provides a reason etc.

Mate we are on here everyday and check most of the posts. We can delete and edit any post that is made here if necessary. Evry so often things pass thorugh the net. If you have a problem with a post then draw my or any of the other mods attention to it and if necessary we can do something about it.

Reviewing all posts is completely impossible. It would make the site shit as you would have to wait ages for even a post to turn up.

Seriously though, any post you or anyone has a problem with just let us know about it. Its what we are here for and if it is a problem it can be sorted. As i say we can change peoples posts and delete them.

The mods do the best they can. The pic thing is necessary so that pictures using certain models that they cant let you post on her for legal reasons dont get posted. Also because there is a limit to the number of pics posted to a thread, which happened earlier. This is mainly for links, not to be a photo gallery. Not tryin to be dick or anything, just tryin to explain it.

Back on subject is there no way that perhaps certain words can be flagged - only extreme ones like racial slurs and the like - and anytime they are used they get edited out like the 'K @ Z @ @' word? I dont mind people swearing, in some instances its funny, and hell I do it enough, but I'm not into the whole racist thing. That sort of shite has no place on this board.
