Yeah...the repetitive argument is a little like complaining about seeing bullets, bombs and explosions in every war movie IMO.

I mean, the basis of the series is 24 hrs. dealing with some terrorist threat. It's not like a sitcom is going to break in the middle of a season.

It got pretty repetitive after the 3rd or 4th year.

I gave up after episode 5 of season 5 about a year and a half ago. I have no notion to continue any time soon.

This was nothing more than an action drama meant to present torture as the solution to all national security problems.

We deserve better from our tv culture than what this show represented.
