Forced Listening

Alright... heres how it works, jagaloons. I'm going to post a video of a song. Next person listens/watches and rates it (1-10), then posts their own video. You can comment on it if you like, or just give it a number. Try not to let your prejudices and preconceptions get in the way before you watch the video (ex. that's lady gaga, it's definitely going to suck.(I know, she sucks)).
Rules:
-You HAVE to watch, rate and post a new video. No coming in here and just blabbering about this and that.

-Try not to shit all over anyone's personal tastes, such as "that was (genre). I fucking hate (genre). (genre) listeners are fags.

-Don't be a dickhead just because the person above you is a dickhead. For instance, Revamp posts a song... We all hate Revamp, but don't be like "1/10, fuck you revamp you fucking suck" just because he posted it.

-No Country music, because it's for fags. ;)

-Don't post fucking 20 minute songs, lest you want to look like an asshole

Alright, I'm going to start it off with...

Queens of the Stone Age's "You Can't Quit Me Baby"

i usually never play these games- but ill do it.

Queens of the Stone Age- 6/10 -they need to rock a bit more but that is to satisfy MY tastes.
i always liked their stuff i just never went out of my way to buy it/dl it-

My selection is Mastodon- Curl of the Burl
dont blame me for the stupid Advertisement (does everything need to be "sponsored"?)

7/10... I've always thought Alice seemed like a super cool dude, but I've never really never bothered to check out his stuff beyond what I've heard on the radio. I liked it though.

Type O Negative - "IYDKMIGTHTKY"

welcome to the board inotrios. I liked the song, 7.5/10. I'm irish and have listened to a lot of irish punk rock, but never quite heard anything that heavy before.
Primordial are something of a well-kept secret, which is a crying shame.

TON song: 6/10 - starts interesting, but never goes anywhere, I dunno, for me a great song needs some structure changes here and there.

Ok, here we go... this is a live version of one of the greatest songs ever. Heaven and Hell by Black Sabbath - or, here, by Heaven and Hell.

8/10... While I prefer Ozzy Sabbath, I love how Dio Sabbath is it's own thing. He wasn't just trying to be Ozzy, which is sweet, and his solo stuff was pretty awesome (who else could wear purple boots on a rooftop in their videos?).

Black Label Society - "Forever Down"

BLS- 8/10 i really like that- i stopped following them after i got hangover music vol. II i wanted the heavy metal but got wimpy music (if i remember correctly) this song started out as a head scratch but once it rocked it was awesome!

my next one is Times of Grace- Willing but the Acoustic version!

here is also the link for the song in it's regular format- which do you like better?

6/10... I liked the acoustic one better, because the guitar playing was pretty nice, but I'm not a fan of the vocals. Wouldn't listen to it normally, but it definitely wasn't bad.

Electric Wizard - "Dunwich"

Electric Wizard - "Dunwich" - 7/10 I liked.

Since were in games thought I use a song that was in The Darkness, where I first heard it too.

6.5. The singer could definitely be in a heavier band. It seems like it lacked a little fire. Like they have the capacity to go fucking nuts, but they were holding back a little. Not bad though.

L3ggy

Special Operations FOX-HOUND
7/10 It's not bad.

8/10. I've never really been into the grunge scene, although PJ certainly fits in with other genres, but I've always kind of admired PJ from afar if you know what I mean. Good song.

Kyuss - "Gardenia"

KYUSS.... that my friend was pretty damn good! never heard of them but i may need to check them out!

8 out of 10- definitely more my style of music!

next is Blood- by Candiria (who have basically completely disbanded after the -What doesn't Kill You- CD, they were ready to take the next step then its been many years TOO many years to get something like What doesn't Kill you out to the fans- though they have "apparantly" recorded and mixed a new album) we shall see!

7. Not my typical listening, but definitely good energy. I can see myself digging this band a lot more back in my teenage Punk/Hardcore/Ska days (not that you'd have to be a teenager or anything).

Eagles Of Death Metal - "San Berdoo Sunburn"
