I have noticed a great deal of folks up & leave after 10K posts, 12K posts, 15k posts & 20k posts perhaps to return in another guise... & she has been something of a posting machine in 2011. Perhaps this is a requisite for the triumphant return of BoardTracker?! :bowdown:
If Petra is leaving because of all the complete retards and idiots here — and I mean the real ones who are subject to righteous banning due to flaming or hover on the verge of banning constantly, not the types who only pretend to be idiots — I really can't blame her at all. I have noticed that this forum becomes extremely hostile sometimes and I have no way of possibly ever knowing the full extent of how bad it really gets.
However, the paranoid part of me is still insisting that this is just some form of prank by her and all the others in the FO team who have chimed in and told us that it is true. That's because I have learned a consistent and irritating habit from the 'net: treat everything as if it could be sarcasm, prank, misinformation or any other form of misdirection until proven otherwise, because it usually is, especially in forums. Maybe it's just another facet of my insanity manifesting subtly. Soon I will have complete full-blown paranoid schizophrenia.
I guess we will see. In case she is really leaving, I hope her replacement will have at least a tenth of the competence to deal with all this.
