I'd really like to think things like this actually effect policy - though to be sure, it's better than doing nothing. I'd be curious to see how groups like this (I remember signing a few petitions on something similar back in the States) show up in the press from an outside analysis. I suppose I've never really looked, but I think I might now...

I'd like to help some of those petitions, but somehow I doubt my vote would count.

Elaborate.
The site also has a section entitled achievements btw.

the big company tax dodgers like vodafone and topshop have been at it for years and it the gov close the loop hole in retaliation them dodgers will just say ok we going to out source our uk jobs to india .which is not good for the gov that want unemployment down so they get a easier life off the voters

I see there's a petition in favour of the electoral reform. There will be plenty of people who will be voting against simply to get at Nick Clegg.

Then we should pass a law saying that they have to employ people here if the company works here and still stop the tax dodging.

Bottom line: There's no excuse for letting them get away with it. The UK is a market and they should pay the price to trade in it and they will if we make them.

they do employ lots of people in this country its just they base there hq or something abroad to avoid the tax so technically there a foreign company its complex i dont understand it fully even so they cunts . i pay my taxes like them but fuck they can afford to pay a lot more like what is there due

You're not listening to me: The UK market is NOT small. They were obviously prepared to pay taxes when they set up here. If we force them to pay taxes there is no reason they shoudl take off abroad.
Not only that but we could be smart and make it law that businesses in the UK employ people in the UK.
