Atletico made some pretty good transfers this summer AND they managed to keep their 2 biggest stars Maxi Rodriguez and, I know you love him, Fernando Torres.
Unless there wont be any chemistry and they crash, I think they will be in the top 4 this season.
Some of the bigger transfers they've had:
Aguero, Pernia, Musampa, Costinha, Seitaridis, Mista and Maniche.
No suprise as it's been rumoured for months he wanted Neill as competion for Finnan.

Wow, both of these players signed in West Ham. I predicted that West Ham will finish the season in 6th place, think I was wrong?
I'm kind of confused about Tevez's career decisions, he could have joined any major club in the world years ago but he stayed in Brazil and now instead of joining Man U or Arsenal or Milan he joins West Ham. Seems a little odd to me.
Ricardo Oliveira was purchased for a spectacular figure of €15.0 million by AC Milan. Johann Vogel also moved to Real Betis in part exchange.
Oliveira is a good striker, he helped Joaquin take Real Betis to the champions league but unfortunately he was injured last season. What do you make of this? was this a good purchase or did Milan overpay?
Wise move I think, as it's only a season long loan and Tevez's can see if he likes England and also if he cope with the pace of the game.
Rangers have signed 26-year-old defender Sasa Papac from Austria Vienna for £400,000.
Wigan have signed Bristol City forward David Cotterill for £2m.
Defender Jan Kromkamp is on his way out of Liverpool and is returning to Holland to sign for PSV Eindhoven. Fee to be believed around £2m.

Bapista said when he made the deal "this is only a loan for the season and I've no intention of joining them for longer" so I don't know about the fee's been agreed.
