Conspiracy...
Five Guys Voted America’s Best Burger Joint In New Survey

Good customer response is about the best PR a company can ask for, so the folks over at Five Guys ought to be pretty happy at being crowned “Best Burger Joint” in a new survey by Market Force Information.

The survey questioned 7,600 consumers and broke down the results based on the raw number of votes for each burger joint, the number of locations for each restaurant, and took geographical date into consideration. Five Guys beat out In-N-Out, Fuddruckers, A&W, and Smashburger, in that order. McDonalds and Burger King ranked pretty low on the list as well.

Breaking the results down shows that consumers liked the taste of a Five Guys burger best, with Smashburger coming in second. McDonalds was dead last in both quality and taste, and In-N-Out was voted as having the best value. A&W was ranked low in all of the key attributes, but it was in the top five overall. There’s something to be said for playing to the middle.

“Five Guys does zero advertising, but by delivering consistently great customer experience, they’re able to build a word-of-mouth buzz that continues to bring new customers through the door,” chief marketing officer for Market Force Janet Eden-Harris said in a release regarding the survey.

Torn & Frayed.
I haven't had all of the choices listed -which is why I didn't vote - but Five Guys is fucking awesome....

I confess I had never heard of Five Guys much less consumed their food. A quick internet search reveals that one is less than six miles from my location. I will need to try them.

I am pleased to say that I have not eaten at nine of the above listed restaurants. Of the ones at which I have eaten, I don't care for any of them. I'm glad you like them, though. I suppose that helps them stay in business.

Racing is life... anything else is just waiting.
Living in California I pick Fatburger best with In 'n' Out at #2. Never had Five Guys, Steak & Shake, or White Castle but always heard good things.

Of the ones listed that I've tried, I prefer my own home-cooked creations. And I'm still not convinced that Big Macs are made from real meat. But yeah, Fatburger has pretty awesome burgers for a chain outfit.

I see Sonic in that poll, but no Whataburger. What's wrong with this picture? :wtf:

Five Guys is good, but way too fucking expensive.Smash Burger is much better.

Edit:

Whoever voted for White Castle needs to be beaten.I think I'd rather eat a can of cat food than their "so called" beef.

And one more thing,I think this poll has some problems as that a lot of these places are regional so there's no way for some people to know what some places are like. For example, being from the midwest, there is no In And Out Burger here,so how do I know if it's better or worse than Five Guys or Smash Burger? Answer is,I don't.We use to have Jack In The Box here in Chicago a long ass time ago,but I was so young that I don't remember what it even tastes like, not that it would even taste the same now as it did over 30 years ago when it was here.

Anyway, just thought that needed to be mentioned.

Only half the choices I have ever eaten at. East coast - west coast thing I guess. Fuddruckers was clearly the best. I love Sonic but the shit is just way too salty. 5 Guys? Over hyped. Is nothing anyone can't make on their own. It's nothing more than push some meat into a petty and slap it on a grill. Same with the fries too. Take a potato and run it into a square slicer. Drop it into some oil till it floats. Big fucking deal. No matter what I load onto the burgher or fries the shit is basically bland. Neither has any hint of spices.

I haven't tried all of those, but Wendy's triple stacker is one of the best burgers I've had. White Castle and Hardee's I wouldn't even give my dog - and I don't even have a dog.

For all you LA Burger lovers, I always thought Apple Pan on Pico was overrated, overpriced, and the burgers are a little small. Some people like the atmosphere of the next guy coming in breathing all over you waiting for you to vacate your stool. Think the cook sweats all over the burgers too so you won't need your salt shaker.

I prefer burgers made on my grill.

I stay away from fast food.

Five Guys is too expensive? How cheap do you want your food?

Is somewhere outhere.
I prefer the burgers out of TGI or Hard Rock as they seem to be a lot better than McD's and BK which are the only ones
we have in Scotland.
