My years will be messy, and not chronological, but the best that I can remember now:
Angela Baron, Jeanna Fine and Tori Wells are some of the first that I remember going out of my way to rent. There may have been some that were earlier, but the name and face recognition in the early to mid 80s wasn't really as important as the fact that there just was video available to rent! By the mid to late 80s, for me anyway, the idea of a star or box cover model really came along. (By then I also looked for Heather Lere, Tianna, Victoria Paris, Madelyn Knight, Ashlyn Gere - the last 3 being some of the first I remember seeing with such perfectly round breasts - some of the first ones I remember having implants.)
