There was a Program on tv about computers and got me thinking about then. When i was 7 i had a ZX81 spectrum with the rubber keys . When i upgraded to a 128k spectrum i binned the ZX81 . I found out on the net that a old ZX81 could be worth around the £200 mark in good working condition

What was your first computer

My first was the spectrum 48K. Was that the zx80 microprocessor? Good times with Sabre Wulf, Chuckie Egg 1/2, Skool daze, Ad Astra , Marble Madness...

the first PC I ever had was old as hell. All I know is that the LCD had a "trademark" as the company name. It worked pretty good actually, but then it started to fuk up on me after a while. :(

Apple II

man than thing had a lot of great games like Lode Runner, Rescue Rangers, Boulderdash. I forget the name of the aircraft carrier plane game.

Nice little computer, that Apple II e... sometimes I wish I'd stayed with Apple instead of turning to the Dark Side (ie. Bill Gates). :)

The first PC i had was an Amiga 500. Pretty damn good for its time, i still got it in the wardrobe somewhere.
You had to upgrade the memory if you wanted to play the good games. A whole 1mb's worth. If you were really good you had 2 disk drives as well. :)

Id drag it out and play it again, but all my games have got viruses... :(

First PC used. Commodore 64...First PC owned: A Dos OS PC with 8MB of RAM and a 90mhz pentium that I bought back in late 95...when all he 'top of the line' PCs had Windows 95.

JL3001

IBM P/S 2. an amazing 4mb of ram and 20mb hard drive

My first computer was a IBM, slower than snale tracks and the screen froze quite often.175 MB. Actually I am surprised it worked,it was missing alot of nessesary software.

The first IBM compatable PC I had was a 1986 Amstrad PC 1640. Its was also my namesake since it the computer I used when I first accessed the Internet in 1988. It had 4MHz and 640Kb of RAM -- that was a huge step forward from the Spectrum with 48Kb of RAM. The Amstrad's were known for their fabulous graphics with a full 16 colour EGA graphics adapter (most still had 4 colour CGA).
